I need to change the fairings of my 09 to the current body style, looks much better imo. The undertail exhaust is just plain sexy😂 one of the reasons I got mine. I ride a 2019 MT-09. My favorite feature is the rider peg bracket. Let me explain: The right bracket has a lip on it under the heel. This is probably to protect you from the stock exhaust (the ugliest ever). However it also gives you a great "extra peg" for your heel to rest on while simultaneously using the normal peg for your toe part. This gives you 2 points to have your foot, and gives amazing stability when standing up. And as the seat is a bit hard and thin, you'll need to stand up once in a while. With the extra heel ledge you can stand up and give it a lot of throttle without falling back into the seat. I love it, and i wish the left side had one too.

I loved this bike, was my second after my CBR650F. Ive got an 07 which was the last year the CBR600RR had a major redesign, to this day, Honda is still using the same mirrors, swingarm assembly, gauge display, front fender, seat and a bunch of others things i cant recall. They have retuned the engine(for more lowend power, if you're into that, but imo, it didn't need it as its always made great midrange power) and they've moved the engine in the frame along with the obvious evolution of the fairings. Honestly, its a great bike, the most stable of the 600's, what it lacks in top end power, it makes up nearly everywhere else in handling and reliability. But this bike hasn't majorly changed in the past 13 years. You can literally ride any 07+ CBR600RR and they'll feel so identical that you can't tell a difference past fairing design. And with the price tag, it isn't as attractive as the other options. Especially when you can get a brand new Kawi ZX6R 636 for right at ten grand which offers more features and 37 extra cc's for three grand less than a CBR600RR. Im a Honda fanboy but they've left the CBR600RR in the dark the last ten years. Normally, i would argue why change what it isn't broken, but at the same time you have to keep up with the competition.

Hello Herorr, thanks for uploading another vid. So, i got my cbr 600rr because of your channel. Red and black just like yours with some mods i added ect. i have a few points to make. 1st. I dont think it matters if the 2020 cbr 600rr is better than others, because from your own earlier commentary, it has a hole in the powerband, and is way more expensive than an 07/08 cbr 600rr, which in my opinion and yours, looks better. I also think the "its underpowered" argument doesnt apply well when comparing it to the R6 for example, because the power kicks on so much earlier, that it feels way faster, and actually is faster than an R6 until the bikes get to a higher rpm. I have ridden both and felt slow on the r6 until i got to 11+k rpm, which takes to long to get too. Sure there is the 636, but lets be honest, that isn't a fair comparison. All in all, i think the video should be, why the 2007/08 cbr 600rr is the best 600 to this date. It is way cheaper than the 2020, better looking, has the sexiness of an Italian bike with the red and black, but the realibility of a Japanese bike. On top of that, the power spike at 8k and 12k feels awesome on it. *drops mic*

Yeah, the 07-08 CBR600RR is not only the best CBR 600 ever made but possibly the best 600 ever made in general. They just got it so right with that bike, perfect balance, power, feel, reliability, and features. All in 2007 that bike was leaps and bounds above anything else.

Don't do it. I did it and actually sold my fireblade 2012 after 6 months and bought a 600rr 2010. Why? because 600RR is more than enough. Only buy a fireblade if you're truly bored of the cbr600rr and can't improve your riding skills any further. Fireblade is really overkill in most situations, I loved the bike but it wasn't really great for around town. 600RR is so much more nimble and easier to throw around.

I am just getting back into the street bike game after a 20 year break. In 2024, the 600RR was the only choice for me. Regardless of CCs, the 600RR is easily the best looking supersport/superbike bike on the sales floor. Dual headlights, undertail exhaust, Honda Red Ride colors, black swingarm, black frame, gold upside down forks, and the 12-spoke wheels are easily the best looking wheels out there. Honda CBR600s have a history of: -- being the easiest bikes to ride fast as they are very forgiving bikes. -- ultra reliable. CBRs can easily go 100k miles, and there is even a CBR 600 out there that reached 300k. -- the easiest bikes to work on -- the bikes to hold up in a crash the best In addition, with a 12 year run (2013-2024), we know there is a lot of aftermarket support and spare parts available. The 2024 600RR has the same engine since 2007, which means the insides have a 17 year run. I myself love it how the 2024 600RR in the USA, is the exact same bike as the 2013-2023 600rr's, because I think these bikes look the best. I am not a big fan of the looks of the newer Gen-6 600RR, don't like the way the headlights look, and don't like the winglets. I also do NOT like all the extra fancy doo-dads the Gen-6 600RR has. When it comes to Supersport or Superbike Motorcycles, I am old school. I like to keep it simple. I can't ever see myself having a bike with a digital tach and an Ipad display. I also don't need ABS, traction control, quick shifters, slipper clutches, and multiple ride modes. Simple also means less likely to break, because the more doo-dads a bike has, the more likely one of those doo-dads is likely to break. I also considered an R1 and CBR1000RR, but Liter Bikes are kinda boring to ride on the street and on the track. You can just leave them in 2nd gear and can keep the revs low. Heck, with a Liter Bike, you can even be 2 gears to high and still properly power out of a turn, no way with a 600 you can do that. With 600s, you have to wind up the motor to like 9k rpm or above to get them moving. I just love the way the way we have to wind up the 600 engine to get it to work. All the power numbers people brag about are really insignificant, even on the race track it is mostly insignificant as there are few guys who can beat me with a more powerful bike. I use to race these things, and I will tell you it is always 99% rider. I use to get trophies racing in the 1000cc class with my 600s (both F4, and a couple of R6s). My advice is BUY THE BIKE that YOU THINK LOOKS THE BEST! and like I said above and will say again, the CBR 600RR is easily the best looking superbike and supersport bike on the sales floor. Dual headlights, undertail exhaust, Honda Red Ride colors, black swingarm, black frame, gold upside down forks, and the 12-spoke wheels are easily the best looking wheels out there.

I still believe the 07-12 600rr to be the best sportbike ever made. It is perfect. From looks to reliability and is the end result of being the average of everything you want in a sport bike. It also looks the best of all 600rr's, though i can understand a person thinking the 05/06 or even the 03/04 is. Great first bike as well with a timeless design. It's a great great bike

I have got to agree with Marc. The 2012 CBR 600RR is a perfected bike; it is perfect in every way. Honda just knocked it out of the park with this model and year. I have heard that MC Hammer bought this bike and said "You can't touch this". For a bike with less than 600 cc's, Hammer was right, You Can't Touch This.

I sat on a 2020 cbr600 a week ago...I was a little shocked at how close the shocks were positioned in the Triple tree compared to the New zx6r. My main gripe is the aged gauge cluster and the steering position for an average(5'8") I cant see the entire instrument cluster. The windshield still cuts into my view of the gauge and I hated the feeling of the plastic fuel tank. I dont want to climb on my bike and hear the plastic tank cover creak and pop as I mount my bike.

Fuel gauges on MC's? I used to just swish the tank side to side when stopped at a light if I thought I was low. This was enough. Why don't bike manufacturers offer it (usually)? Maybe easier in cars to do so because cars don't go leaning their vehicles up to 60 degrees on two wheels like bikes do so, yeah 🤔

If you ask me the riding position it's not the biggest issue. What i hate about 600cc sport bikes is that they lack any power under 10 rpm. it's feels like you riding 250cc in taller gear until you reach 8k rpm and after that all of the hell break loose. It's not very pleasant experience riding on the street. With 600 you need to work a lot for your power combine it with aggressive riding position and you have torture device. But some people love it. Ask for test ride or just set on the bike and see for yourself.

@@Fearless154 been sitting on a lot of SuperSports. I like the riding position on the GSXR the most but I like the comfort on the Honda's. Most likely will get a R6 because they are so numerous for cheap track bikes. I know my limit is tracks with my supersports as I can keep up on my FZ on the street. Maybe get a street triple if I have the monies.

Also, people talk about power as if it’s a linear concept. The R6 makes more PEAK power than the CBR, but I’ve ridden one and there is almost no power available below 9-10k RPM on that bike. I’m not saying the Honda pulls HARD below that, but it pulls better than other middleweight bikes I’ve ridden. My 2014 Daytona is better than either of those as far as midrange power goes, but it’s got more displacement.

Fuel gauge is useless. Trip meter is fine for that. No matter how hard I beat or how little, my YZFR1 trips it's fuel light within 3 miles of 148 miles...no variation. Just 3 miles. With that knowledge, I have no reason to eyeball a fuel gauge. Same thing will happen over and over again with no need to take "dash" real estate. The 600RR is the only one in its class that handles like an R6 as well. The 600 class is dominated by those 2 bikes in wins and championships. With an exhaust and tune you can get 120hp to the ground. Most super sport bikes have a fuel gauge now, but my 2019 CBR1000RR SP does not have a fuel gauge. Lol Always wondered how Honda could have fuel gauge on the 600 and even with upgrades to the 1000 and never put one on. Would love to have the new 2020 (2021 in US) RR-R SP but it is over priced at $28,500. The 600RR is supposed to get its revamp in 2021. I hoping for a GSXR 600/750 updates in the next year or so. Would be nice to see all the 600cc up to date in power and tech. Hero you mention the under tail exhaust. That is something I wonder if Honda will go away from with their planned update to the 600RR. Not many bikes left that have it and its unique to the 600RR in its class.
