The Military Orders sectorial of PanOceania is the hard-hitting religious knight division of the mighty hyperpower. From heavy infantry on bikes to close-combat beasts this sectorial brings armour - and plenty of tools to cut through any enemy that brings the same.

I only play Code One, but the Pano knights in Code One are fantastic, and have such dynamic and 'in-action' sculpts

I love the flowing outfits the Khawarij in Haqq have, but yeah, Military Orders sure have their swooshy clothing dialled up to 11. Also there's always the whole being able to playfully reply to "who brings a knife to a gunfight?" with the fun answer of "I've got swords, shotguns, rockets, missiles, and heavy machine guns, I don't need anything else..." I've been heavily tempted to pick up the Military Orders box for our PanO force simply because man do I want to paint those... Also yeah, they have a lot of what initially drew me to JSA but don't have the super punishing if you mess up your range bands stuff. Also, yeah, I'll admit, I can be aggressive and boy does Military Orders sure like it if you play aggressively...

All of those reasons should have also made the video! I did find them a lot harder to paint well than my O12 as there’s so much awesome detail I wanted to pick out. White banner is pretty similar and I can imagine Morats might feel the same as MO too.

Couldn't agree more- as a new player they have been a great intro- as you said they are quite forgiving, they do a little of everything, and have some great models, the knight of the holy sepulchre is what got me into this game:) Great vid!!!

Just starting Infinity and starting with Military Orders for your aforementioned aesthetic reasons, as well as liking a good zealous nutter to chop stuff up with. Who brings a knife to a gunfight? The same person who has "Vengeful God" etched into their lazer sword in Latin, that's who! I'm glad you made this video, it's good to hear that they'll also likely fit one of my preferred playstyles in tactics games. I do note a missing mention of the Seraph in the discussions of centerpieces. It seems to be the redheaded stepchild of the PanO tag lineup. As someone who's new, I don't know why that is, precisely. Can you shed some light?

Funny you should mention that as I ran a seraph in my game last week. It’s a great profile and people should try it at some point. Some players swear by it and never make a list without it. For me I’d rather have a Tikbalang for similar points. Gives me more points for some upgrades Teutonics 😃

@@the_infinitygamer this really is what is great about infinity, it's far more the player than the list in most instances. Obviously certain tools in each list help make certain matches easier or harder but how you play matters alot more IMO.

You’re absolutely correct! Some units that people swear by have never made a single list of mine but then some things I love don’t work for other people. I think people struggle, when starting with infinity, with the concept that there aren’t any OP units or net lists. It’s more about you, the mission, and your play style.

Reason 1 - The Minis, Reason Two - see reason one (repeat for reasons 3-5) Im trying to learn how to free hand some fleur-de-lis and other heraldry so i can mange more than just a cross pattee and really play up the religious aesthetic

@@the_infinitygamer If I manage to nail it in time for Taridiso I'll bring one to show you, so many minis to paint between now and then though - I look at what Marco Colli does with historic minis its just sublime - not sure I have the time or skill to do that on a black friars cape but 10% of that would still be amazing on the tabletop.

I love their looks! ACtually I'm building up Nomads as my first Army, but my original two boxes where the Mobile Brigada and the Teutonic Knights. I'm slowly building MO out of sales opportunities XD

They were one of the sectorials I was considering when thinking about expanding my collection, before realizing I wouldn't have had the time to properly play them. Anyway, I agree with you that they have some of the most cool looking models, the whole space knight vibe helps a lot. As for the other points, I think that the best one is their tankiness coupled with their high morale. Would be curious to know who's the most durable between them, IA and SP, though.

Well my MO were smashed by SP at a recent tournament but I think we can put that down the commander failings over the faction’s tankiness.

I'm being drawn to white banner for similar reasons you describe in this video. Coming from mostly playing ariadna, some big chunky troopers sound very appealling and should lend some extra staying power. I an ==m becoming better at stopping my squishy ariadna from being picked off too easily, but tanky models with multiple wounds would be a lovely change of pace!

I’m a fairly new player in Infinity and I’ve got Mo 300 pts box, Action pack some old Teutonic Knights and Montesa and the look soooo cool. I’ve got a similar green color palette as your pictures 🤣. Could you do a video with some lists suggestions for them?? By the way great channel, like it very much

Hey David! That’s such a good collection, well done! Lists are so difficult to help people with - it’s so much trickier in Infinity than other games to create singular optimal lists. Your mission is really going to dictate the units you use first then you’ll want to build around them 😃

I love the new MO models, but have an old school Santiago Knight that needs table time. I bought him and some Fusilers long ago. I Have most the new models prepped, but have to get the family and anyone else interested at the LGST through Code One first to dive into N4.

Yeah, it is a great new set. I have the Kaelstrom, and Crimson stone as well. I am working on getting all three sets built and painted so people have some choices when i get demos going.

Thx, When I do Demos, I like to have a variety. Done with the Kaelstrom crews prepping, and am working on Crimson Stone sets. Will have a painting party with my Wife and Dauhhter to teach them how to use the new army painter washes once they all together. They coolest part is they all come with thier own demo tables.

I wanted to play Mil Orders but a lot of the models I wanted to run seem to have been removed from the store, so I can't run the list I want, I do have the start collecting box and I love them. Some other factions do still seem to have the models I want to use for those, but since I bought Mil-Orders I'd like to stick with them.

@@the_infinitygamer Individual boxes of a Black Friar, Crusader Brethren, Order Sergeants and Knights Hospitaller. I know they got the one box with all of them + Joan, but that comes up to more or less 126$ before taxes, etc.

Great question! It’s a sectorial of Pan Oceania so can only be played in N4. Unusually, you can’t use a lot of the regular Pan O action box in MO as it’s so specialised.

Are they equivalent to Morats or are they stronger, more offensive and/or more defensive? Basically, how do they stack up against or compared against Morats?

I find Morats stronger but only because of the fact they can leverage smoke and are more resistant to hacking. They’re similar in the fact they’re strong and shoot well.

@@the_infinitygamer Thanks! my favorite faction is Nomads. I got into them with N2 and the Icestorm (I think) box was released many years ago. As time passed so did the game and I am just now getting back into it and am shocked with the number of new units and how all the Nomad sectorals are flushed out and that it is now on it's 4th edition!! I use your channel to relearn the game so thank you!

5 reasons to not run MO: 1. You're insufficiently interested in stompy robot clothes to have friends. 2. You think John Wu films are too visually busy, and would prefer something easier to follow, like Caillou. 3. The papacy has banned you from participating in the fun, and you agree. 4. You're too busy justifying your recent warmahordes buy-in to recognize the sunk cost fallacy. 5. You prefer the more libertarian sensibilities of Tunguska, and managed to escape this list wholly unscathed, good sir.

Not at all. It’s been a good learning curve to not lean into it too much to pick the best interactions.

MO are my sectoral of choice as well as my first sectoral to play in Infinity, as a result I've never played with smoke and got used to coming up with ways of pushing the board. Good choices are usually the Sepulchre knight or the Teutonic Missile launcher as hunter models to try and take out the stronger ARO pieces before moving shorter range units up the table.

Fully agree with this. The Teutonics have a brilliant dodge so you can pick your engagements very well. The Tikbalang is also an excellent option for clearing big ARO pieces.

You get allot of MSV which can help counter some uses of smoke, sadly it’s mostly on mid range guns like spitfires

In my defence this video was done before their images were released. I agree that the Thorakitai might be some of the best looking infinity models to date.
