I wore this during law school and my friend swore she would know I was in the library by this scent alone!! I would smell it on my coat even 2 days later. LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

I like this one for years but haven't get a full bottle yet. Last weekend I ran to a local store and got it for 40% off. I'm so happy and wear MG all the time. It's so versatile.

Oh my goodness I’m so inpatient. I feel like I’ve been waiting for months for this and La belle to come in so I can review it. (It’s really only been about a week or so) 🤣😭. The bottle is beautiful and the way everyone gasses up this fragrance I really hope I like it because I blind bought it. Sheesh

At bottle sniff and on others this is a beauty, really nice. Sadly, I have tried and tried (and tried!) to wear this but it hates my skin chemistry - it comes and goes in minutes flat, like a teen boy losing his virginity after prom.

Have you tried applying small amounts of Vaseline to the area that you’re going to apply your fragrance? I had similar troubles and this did the trick for me :)

i don't know if i just got nose blind for this but after i spray it i didn't smell it to me on or about 1hr i got decant for the edp i do this before buying the full bottle

Your bottle looks brownish instead of pinkish, like mine that is turning. It smells like play-doh now in the opening. I guess I will need to use it quickly. I bought a new bottle to compare, and note there is definitely a difference in the color. I don't think it lasts more than 2 years before turning.

All perfumes with a lot of vanilla will eventually turn brown. Mine is brown, but still smells the same compared to a new bottle. But i always finish a bottle before it hits two years.

I have all three. Mon Guerlain is powdery, mature and feminine. Black Opium is sweeter, yet darker; reminiscent of Carolina Herrera Good Girl. YSL Libre smells CLEAN like laundry or Spring.

Hey hun, how is MG Mon Guerlain edp compared to Amouge Portrayal? When I smelled the latter it reminded me of MG but it projects more than MG I think. And Amouge has faint tobacco scent. Anyone tried Amouge Portrayal? Thoughts? (Disclaimer: I’m new to this community but I’ve always loved perfumes, and also new to niche.)

Guerlain is more soft . not too sweet and elegant in my opinion. I like this better .. black opium is more gourmand and bold

@@talitahamzah2704 thank you. I actually have them both now. I love them both. I love the coffee from ysl. I think ysl vibe is more like leather pants and backless silk top while guerlain is amalfi coast dinner
