I looked like I’d chase him but I’m done after doing that in a marriage. I have too many options in mid age to deal with bs lies. If a man promises me something and doesn’t do it then I’m out! No more cheating, lying, ect! Now if that was an emergency or something came up then I’d understand with telling me he would do something and it didn’t happen. That’s life! No more bs from these men! I've never chased a man my entire life! If they are attracted to you, value you, your time, your ambitions, your mental well being, they will be there and you never have to wonder if they are into you or not. You are right. In my experience, it never worked when I pursued a man. He would get very lazy in the relationship, but when a man pursued me, the relationship was much better. I appreciated him and he appreciated me.

There is no reason women should wait for a man to confess his attraction to her first if she wants a partner to eventually be married to. Women shouldn’t need to wait for a man to propose marriage. Women don’t need to risk losing the fulfillment of that desire more than men. Desire for that relationship is equally wanted by both genders. One gender should passionately want to pursue the other mutually or marital intimacy that sexual desire is made for will be difficult. Sexual desire is the most passionate feeling anyone can have for another.

I have stopped chasing men since I started to work on myself, it is not easy as I am so used to doing the chasing and making things happen for so many years. Marriage is exclusive because it’s that special of a relationship. I didn’t mean sexual attraction alone is more important than love for the rest of a person. I only wrote it that way because I was going to work soon and wanted to get my main points posted quickly.

Thanks Brody. I am a senior woman who has been widowed for almost 10 years. Two months ago I met a nice gentleman here in Florida. It’s been over 40 years since I’ve been out on a date. All of the so called ‘new dating rules’ have left me confused. I appreciate that the ‘rules’ that I grew up with are still in place. I was a ‘take charge’ business woman before I retired. Thank you for helping me understand not to bring that into this relationship!! I love that he opens doors for me, fixes my squeaky front door (even though I could have done it, I let him do it and thanked him). Wish me luck. Praying that God will bless this relationship. I agree in some points, and I’ve seen this advice on other channels similar to this.. but I’ve taken initiation many times on different relationships, in different ways... and no matter how hard I’ve tried I’ve had guys that I either went out a few times or was in a relationship and I just can’t keep them away (for years). You can’t be on him all the time but you can’t be scared to push a little for things to happen if you feel is right. Don’t be needy, don’t be dramatic, don’t be clingy, don’t say too much. Always keep it interesting and you’ll be fine.

Agree. It's important to strike the right balance interms of not chasing but communicating without giving the needy energy. There's always a give and take and the roles shift depending on the personalities we are. The relationship we have with ourselves is important to not be needy. And yes, as a woman we tend to want to take action when we see things slowing down. Awareness is the key. It's a journey of learning and evolving

I had a guy who refused to chase and talked about how he didn’t believe in traditional roles and didn’t want to lose me… but then I did all the work and he clearly lost interest. Literally couldnt win with him :( unnecessary heartbreak

I was always the one who gives 1000% with every relationship. I noticed that when I was broken up with my exes always told me I was the best girlfriend they'd ever had. It really messed with me. I always helped when they had no one and I was the one always there when they needed their best friend/family the most. They'd always leave me for a girl that wasn't there type (lazy or very needy) or the crazy girl... Very confusing.

@@MsAtieno yep, never ever give 1000% much less giving 100%. Men want to convince you to love them, and fight off the other men who are pursuing you. If you as a woman are giving, you're messing up. Women are to receive. Channel the mood and attitude of your cat in relationship with a potential love interest. Literally, study cat behavior. Men ('the dogs in this story') are intrigued and captivated by the cat.

@@tinydancer36 I wasn’t aware even my family used me. My mom always told me I was the perfect child. Why? Because I’d jump off a bridge for her… see where I am going? I was heavily teased in school for being “different” and voted in my year book the most sensitive. I really care about people. But now at 30 I am learning this type of behavior from people is abuse. I am learning to set boundaries (very hard) and not talk to people who are trying to use me.

it feels soooo disempowering to chase a man. My boyfriend was the pursuer throughout even though I didn't realise this until I started to have feelings for him. It feels so natural and free to be pursued respectfully by a good man

If I'm not attracted to a man, it is annoying to have them chase me. It is easy to chase a woman who men consider a trophy. It isn't a compliment when the men you want don't chase you.

Feminine energy is about opening up to receive love, bonding , connecting etc. Masculine energy is about purpose, drive , mission , breaking down barriers, succeeding. Men take the lead and pursue in the beginning then when the woman feels safe and comfortable she begins chasing. A man never asks a woman to be his gf until she brings it up.

You missed a point here. A man will not loose attraction if he pays for the air fare ! I once met a guy online and he flew me from one continent to the other. He was totally into me. We stayed together for over 6 months but I broke it off as I couldn’t see myself married to him.

Wonderful video! Everything you said was so correct. My ex boyfriend asked me out however he expected me to do a lot for him because I was in my masculine energy most of the time. I pushed for him to meet my parents too soon and eventually our relationship fell apart. After being single for 4 years & cultivating my feminine energy, my dating experience has improved so much! There is no reason women should wait for a man to confess his attraction to her first if she wants a partner to eventually be married to. Women shouldn’t need to wait for a man to propose marriage. Women don’t need to risk losing the fulfillment of that desire more than men. Desire for that relationship is equally wanted by both genders. One gender should passionately want to pursue the other mutually or marital intimacy that sexual desire is made for will be difficult. Sexual attraction is the most passionate feeling anyone can have for someone.

After almost 20 years of a long-distance friendship, the man I'm currently seeing reached out when he recently became single again. He has always been the one to make initial contact of texts and phone calls over the years. When he came to visit, he professed that he has always loved me and that he isn't going to let geography get in his way anymore. Without realizing what I was doing, my fear of him finding someone else again due to distance that still exists triggered the masculine side of me and suddenly even though he wants to be with me, he began pulling back. Thankfully, he cares enough to have the hard conversation with me that helped me realize that my actions of trying to be closer to him, to control the timing of our times together so he didn't have the opportunity to meet anyone else, was actually taking the chase away from him. Thank you for your insights ... because of this program I've been able to identify the areas where I need to adjust and let him lead. Understanding the importance of allowing this man to take the lead has already produced a change in attitude and increased the number of text messages and phone calls from him.

I wish I found your channel before I confessed my feelings to a man that I met online,my feelings weren't that strong but they were there,I never went to his city(also because it's just so far away) and I'll never visit his place only to see him,soon after I confessed I was rejected,I did feel bad really bad. We still talk but I realise I do alot of chasing and initiations through your videos. Recently,he told me we'll only talk on Saturdays and then I said "Okay" I wouldn't text him till it was Sat.(earlier we would talk every single day) it happened for two weeks and then on third week he himself started texting me on time(before I sleep) and wrap the conversation with "we'll talk tomorrow" I did not question much about Saturday thing. It would mean alot if you put up a video for "friendzoned" girls.

I followed your advice and not chasing men. I’m very feminine and men acknowledged that trait. However, Asome guys started the chasing but when they didn’t get the sex… say within 3 dates, they vanished. Some staying a little longer like a month, seeing that I don’t chase them with none stop texting and checking on where they are, they left and said they don’t think I am interested or we don’t have chemistry because I’m not eager to take off my clothes. By the way, I’m not talking about young men, I’m in my 50th and these men are in late 50s or earlier 60s. Are men losing that Masculine chasing drive when they get old? It’s very frustrating and disappointing.

A big part of that is making sure you're building their desires for you in other ways besides sex and applying many of the rules we cover in Trigger His Desire TriggerHisDesire.com if you have that already (highly recommended).
