Thank you for all your advice. 😎 If I may, I would add one. You must not have your horizon line at 50% of the screen, you must always follow the rule of 2/3 - 1/3. Otherwise the eye does not know what to look at.

I’ve never even bothered to color grade my videos because I was never shooting in cinelike (because the mini 2 doesn’t have it) but you’ve given me something to try the next time I shoot. Thank you.

I would love to know more about Auto Exposure Bracketing. I have lately gotten to love using this and I now find myself taking more photos now than before. I would love to see what you can do with it.

You rock, Matthew! Thanks again for your channel! I especially like the part about “don’t just fly, shoot long videos”, which is what I do sometimes and, like you said, you have to sift through the longer clips for the movements you want to extract. Decide, before you fly, what move you want to perform, less post processing.

These videos help a lot. I've had the mini 3 pro for a few weeks now and I'm starting to think my location is not so good, mostly farmland. Good for practicing I guess but nothing seems to pop out and scream excitement lol.

Awesome video Matt, I'm all the way in the Caribbean, just got my first drone (Mini 3 Pro) a few weeks ago and I'm looking to get into some stock video to upload, in m country we have some beautiful tropical scenery but rain has been a bugbear....can't wait for the rain to back off so I can put my drone to work with your tips....thanks much for your videos

Thank you for the good advice. In fact I thought it was necessary to use the D-cinlike profile but you advise to put on Color -> Normal, I thought it’s not good for color grading in this mode, I will follow your advice. In D-cinelike mode it's a lot of work and the result is not always good. What video editing software you use for color grading

Thank you. I was standing right behind the bridge, so the drone was only going a maximum of 10-15 meters away otherwise you are right, having RTH kick in would be risky with the trees!

Nice video, In the US, we have to get a part 107 to sell any drone footage.. Not sure about other countries. Also, my footage looks very pixelated and odd when playing clips back, on the computer. Is it possible I have a setting wrong or something? I'm using a Dji Mini 3 pro, just got it a few days ago..Thanks in advance! 👍

Hey! I would check the resolution is 4k (if moving between modes it can sometimes reset to 1080p), and that the ISO is not set high to begin with. Let me know if that works!

Hi Mattheww. For two month I am the proud owner of a Mini Pro 3. Since then I have been training and practising to control the thing properly by using (i.e. copying….😇) your filming suggestions. Now I come to the editing part. I have an iMac having iMovie installed. Would this fit enough or do you have a better option? What edit programme do you use as it isn’t mentioned in the “gear list”. I'm new to cinematography. I want to possibly grade my footage or edit it just a little bit but without the intimidating process of going through premier pro or something else. Do you recommend I use lightroom with the 8 bit footage? Is that sufficient enough to make a decent looking short film?

A simple editing program I use is NCH and with LUTS you can get free. LUTS stands for lookup table. I try to keep things simple, more time to fly:)

Are you flying in high winds? That can cause the shots to be a little lumpy. If not, I recommend playing about with the gain & expo settings to make the drone a little more "numb" to the joystick inputs. Here is a video that should help with that! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nZORadthmdaulWg.html
