Today we're looking at a pair of sneakers that... aren't sneakers. yup they are boots and they are a collaborative effort between Adidas and rapper/producer/designer Kanye West. Another addition to their long line of collaborative sneakers, Adidas and Kanye release the Adidas Yeezy Desert Boot. The military style boot is available at many sneaker boutiques and retail chains in a bid for Kanye to release his footwear to as many people as possible. Did he do the right thing? Particularly the Salt, which has the same laces, mesh pattern and interior lining as the 500. Rock and Oil have slight differences from the Salt as pointed out in the vid at 5:00.

Was worried mine wouldn’t fit since I didn’t size up but I went with my tts 13 and they fit good, tough to get on but that’s okay. It’s been years since I wore boots so I’m not used to the stiff ankle area kinda fooling around with my ankle. Got the oil pair they’re amazing

Hey there- did these hurt or put pressure on the back of your ankles? I do like them but I wore them on a long walk yesterday and felt a lot of pressure on the back of my ankle. Is it the shape? I also got a small blister only on my right side ankle. It wasn’t bad but maybe I got a size slightly too big. Or maybe because was my first day wearing them. Hopefully they get better. I appreciate any feedback on others experiences!

I like how fairly priced they are. Boots aren't cheap and a good quality boot is going to start around the same price as the Yeezy boot. I'm sure there are some boots that are affordable but it loses some of the features of it being a boot. I'm going to be getting these soon because of how quick winter is approaching and walking around with cold feet in sneakers is a no go lol.

They both have a similar look, but after having the boot in hand, I feel they both have their place in the Yeezy line. 500 high will have that more flexible adiprene sole and be lighter. This boot is more rugged, heavier with thicker padding and has a hard, stiff outsole. Depends on what you prefer.

QUESTION: If my 500s fit me true to size, as i have 2 dif size feet lmao, but, do these have the same fit? I want to grab these FOR SURE while hype is... elsewhere, not on the 3 drops this week that were so good and limited theyd all be huge resales if there was hype. These, triple black/gum Human race which i copped, and the sneakiest and weirdest one, the red orbit retro 8... limited to sz 8-14, from a Dover street exclusive to a limited drop on SNKRS which are sitting now. The leather and materials and loud colorway and exclusivity would and should have made them valuable. But when instagram isnt showing them stock x hasn't gotten any and no knows their resell... they're sitting. I hope this happens more often lol

Right on, how fickle hype is... on your Q, if you find the 500s snug in your TTS, you may want to size up on the Desert Boots. They fit a tad more snug than 500s.

These are not true to size. In the 500 I'm an 11.5 and also in the 700 I'm an 11.5 but these in 11.5 were too tight like all around. Just ordered them in 12 hopefully they fit. In 350 I'm an 11. I like them snug and the knit material is flexible. But these boots with the rubber lining make it super tight all around. With the heel elevated too, it's like your feet slide down towards the front. Sucks cuz now I have to sell them to someone else. Oh well. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Xmasochist finally, someone was able to answer that question. I’m a 10 in the 500 and 700. So this means I’m a have to go 10.5 in the desert boots. Thank you for the insight 🙏🏼

Just got mine in. Bought the same size as my 500 Bone White. It's snug but comfy enough to my liking. Not as heavy as I thought it would be, though definitely has weight and heft, being a frigging boot. Feels nice and wide but it does feel like it lacks length inside, running at least a half size short of listed. Hence all the recommendations to size up. I'd say, get your size in the 500s or a half size up from those for a more relaxed fit.

I had the season 6 graphite and the season 7 oil. I’m being honest they’re both comfortable as boots and they both feel very premium although season 6 is a lot heavier than 7. Highly recommend getting these new ones for sure. 🔥🔥

Picsoleated yea, just like what balenciaga did with their triple S. Their first releases of those shoes were manufactured in Italy but then the manufacturer moved to china where their materials are a lot lighter and easier to produce.

Picsoleated heard they aren’t made for winter. More of a fall boot. The yeezy season 6&7 version are made with higher/heavier materials and are good for winter. The adidas version are lesser quality, lighter and more breathable. Ideal for fall.

Actually you can wear them in winter. Sole is rubber and that's good for rainy and snowy weather. No drama or pain in the ass. Normal sneakers in winter with gum and elastic boost soles? funny..

like your vids but couldnt disagree more. this is a hybeast shoe, plain and simple. a stright 100% knock off of military issue desert boot, the 5.11 tac boot, hell even the reebok rapid response. all of those are built substantially better and are half the price. cmon man
