I think they initially planned it to be that way and then they changed their focus to fit the story they wanted to tell. I like the direction it’s going!

I love PoE 1 and 2 and really hope Avowed has strong writting. I just feel Kai description sounds really contraditory - idealistic and pragmatic? Kinda weird.

I hope the writing is strong as well. That will be a big piece that could make or break the game. Regarding Kai, I think they mean that Kai is hopeful but resourceful, but that’s how they’ve described him, so I get what you mean haha.

#1: The disappointment New Vegas Fanboys will experience when they realize this is not the Bethesda killer like they wanted The Outer Worlds to be.

I was excited till I heard same team as Outerworlds which was boring basic BS...I really like that you can have pre set loadouts to switch between & it sounds like there are a good amount of abilities. Hopefully it won't just be magic but will also have weapon abilities which these bethesda style games usually completely ignore. Very mixed bag on this one, we'll have to see when it drops.

@@10-OSwords I don’t have experience with the Outer Worlds, so I can’t speak to that game’s experience. There seems to be a really good amount of abilities. Like always, I think it’s a good idea to wait until release and see reviews, but I’m excited for it.

i hate that the characters look so generic, you cant hire people who can design your characters to look unique? the aumaua is forgettable, in pillars we even have an aumaua that look like the rock! we have an afro lady godlike with birds feathers all over.. how hard is it to play around with character customizations??
