Those reasons you pointed out, I think a lot of people can find them on TRD Off Road too, since the Off Road trim has diff and lock and give it some mods - totally worth it and save some money. I got mine 2022 Off Road, absolutely love it!

Bought my TRD Off Road in 2019 for 31k nearly 4 years later and 57k miles, still worth almost what I paid! Don’t think I’ll get anything other than a Tacoma from now on.

And here with the new 2024 Redesign the "this truck has aged extremely well" is even more true. Usually when a new redesign comes out that is popular in loved the old one instantly looks bad but this still looks good even though the new one looks amazing.

Just bought my first Taco ever 4 months ago. 23 pro solar octane. I love it. I knew if I decided for some reason to sell it that it would be easy. I do need more dry space though. Only problem is don’t get to drive it enough.

That truck is very expensive. Roughly $60k. I spent 30k on my vehicle(s) and got: A 2007 4 door 4wd Tacoma AND a 2011 4 door Wrangler Sport with hard top. Not bragging. Just showing there are much better ways to spend your money in my opinion than buying a brand new truck. Especially right now.

I picked up the 4x4 off-road with the six-speed manual I think it's a little better if you're price cautious cuz I saved about 10 grand over the price of the pro & I don't do too much off-roading so the off-road is fine for me... Pro is sick tho💯👍👍

A little more hp would be nice but I think most people that buy tacomas get them for reliability. I have the exact same truck and its fantastic. Never owned a toyota before but I have to say it is simplistic and rides surprisingly well. Just wish it had discs in the back but I plan on getting a conversion kit for it eventually. And at the end of the day it doesnt matter what other people think. Get what you like.

I think very reliable points, but ALSO, if you're spending 50k+ on a tacoma, you aren't going on trails lol. 95% of the pros never see a trail in their life this tacoma included. Atleast not a real trail. The kind you're portraying atleast. Most trails give you pin stripes 90% of the time and nothing you can do about it. And most people aren't paying 50k to ruin their paint. All the pro is, is the sr5 package and the 4wd package combined. Personally I think the sr5 is perfect if you go on small easy trails. It's a small truck and does well on dirt. But if you want to actually trail get the 4wd. But buying a pro is over rated just to get the sport package and get a knob inside for 4wd. At the price of a pro you can buy a Cummins pickup. And get way more for your money. Theres a LOT of aftermarket stuff you typically do to a tacoma to pull close to its max load and it's max towing load isn't a lot. I have an 08 sr5 myself. I love tacomas. And the pros are cool. But these trucks are already over priced. And for not getting a whole lot with a pro you really are paying quite a lot for just the name at that point and a "pro" badge on the outside. If you remove the pro badge you actually can't tell it's a pro unless you see the hood scoop and look inside and see the 4wd. Other than that there's nothing lol

I still would like to take one of the 2024s for a drive. I’m really considering getting the manual transmission because originally when I was 16 I use to drive nothing but manuals. Plus I used to live in Pittsburgh, which was nothing but Hills. Now I live in Florida, which is all level, so I just think it will be plain ol’e fun.

I love them. I bought a '23 Trail Edition and I love it. But I want the LED lights, fog lights, cowl hood, sunrood, etc. May just upgrade my options. I do like my cloth seats and a sunroof isn't necessary

I live in Taiwan ... There are very less parking spots where you can actually park a Tacoma or Hilux they are huge . Rav4 and crv is the best choice here

I bought a brand new 2014 trd sport for$30k in feb of '14... my house flooded & so did my truck. It ran and drove fine after but the ins company decided to total it due to interior water damage so they gave me $23k for it last month just shyof 10yrs old. People may say they're over priced but then wonder why they're dodge has trans problems or there $70k ford is only worth $26k 6 years later. Im sticking with Toyota

Toyota needs to make a GR Tacoma; for those who have no idea WITF I’m talkin’ about, issa hypothetical Tacoma TRD Pro that’s been further enhanced by the off-road wizards at Toyota Gazoo Racing (hence the GR Tacoma name)

As long as you like the seating position, bit for most of us it sucks and that's has been my biggest deal breaker. The new gen is tempting amd hopefully o cam fit comfortably.

Well I have a 2013 Ford F250 diesel 4x4 and a 2012 FJC Trail Teams edition. They are both paid off. The Tacoma is a beautiful rig though 👍

I work with people who for some reason refuse to believe that a Tacoma is a superior vehicle don't know why that is I love mine.

My cousin had a 2020 Tacoma TRD off Road that had its evaporator replaced with only 16k miles. After that, it was never the same. Rattles, squeaks and wind noise can be heard through the dashboard. In addition, 3rd brake light developed water leak and stained the roof liner. Warranty didn't even cover it. Now his engine is vibrating and they think it's the engine mount. I did a little research and discovered the Tacoma has the lowest reliability rating of all Toyota models. Even the Hilux is rated way higher than the Tacoma.

Overpriced for a truck that havent had any refresh for a long period of time.

Nah I’m glad I got my 21 4Runner, way nicer interior with more room, same off road capability if not better with shorter wheel base, I’ll use my truck for truck stuff and 4Runner for everything else.

Will it fit a car seat comfortably? Can you have people sit in the back seat comfortably? And can it tow a fiber glass boat well? If it can do those things. I’d be all in. Price is great. Colors are great. Yotas are reliable. Lot of good to be said about them. I’m just a fan of the big 3 and full size trucks. Hard to deviate. But I did move from GM to ford. So anything is possible.

Tundra seems like a more reasonable buy, a truck in general is never compact. I drove a tacoma before it still makes wide turns and the bed still makes it like any other truck, plus 2023 Tundra is v6.
