As our property has a lot of fencing all over the place, we're repurposing it for various uses. Additionally A cooking experiment with beetroot went exceptionally well! :)

A wood chipper would be a good hire, mulch all those smaller branches for ground cover.

There is an English couple have a vlog I think it’s called our French farmhouse they are-passionate renovators he has what appears to be a really great way of building compost piles quickly why not check them out loving your vlogs on catch-up just now

By the look of it, you'll be warm over the winter. I think you have enough wood to get started anyway. Are you planning on composting? You certainly have plenty of organic material on your property.

We had to buy some wood to be sure, haven't used it yet but its getting close. The old farmhouse is not insulated so we have to burn quite a bit too stay warm but it is ok! We are "composting" but it just is one big pile now 😅

You’re up over 1000! Congratulations. Enjoying seeing things gradually coming to life again. I love the idea of putting in some fruiting trees in the old veggie garden. I envy you your climate - I have a peach tree and some red currants and raspberries; that’s as exotic as I can get. Are you planning to put in one elsewhere on the property?

Hey Janice, we have loads of plans! We would like to have a part be a food forest for us. But we need to make a plan of what and where we want to do it! At the moment it is all a bit overwhelming because there is a lot of work and we have to always think if we need to pass with machinery etc. and we don't want to put it very far from the house because then you pay less attention to it.

What was that invasive bush that was cut down ? And is it necessary to remove / kill the root system? If so, how would that be done ?

All tge fensing and poles wouldbe great to put around fruit trees to keep animals away frim chewing on them

We already reused some of the fencing, alot of it will be used as firewood aswell. We have some left which we can use for fruit trees but that will be later.

You should not yse the saw without safety bar......very bad example !

The table saw? It still has the splitter at the end to not pinch the wood. The plastic cover i took off because it seriously gets in the way with about anything you want to cut.
