I agree with both points. Josiah's haunting is one of the most believable stories I've seen. I have watched all of his videos that are available and they seem extremely legitimate. In some videos he has emotional break downs. I hope he will be alright.

But he has kids. Then it no longer is his free will to harm himself. He can do that after his kids are stable adults.

If I recall, his mom passed away, and wanted him to stop drinking.

It is his free will. He’s an alcoholic and it’s a disease. He won’t stop until he’s ready and desperate enough too. Sad to say but disease of addiction doesn’t give a shit if we have kids or lose them or our house. Our brain tells us we use or drink or we will die. The cravings are so strong that consequences aren’t enough to get us to stop. Sometimes it is but it’s when you’re ready. I fought with this for years. My last relapse was my worse, they get worse every time. I was hating myself and kept asking God if they say you don’t stop until you’re ready that why can’t I stop because I had been ready. My trauma, mental illness, wanting to numb, thinking everyone even my son would be better off, that I was just hurting people no matter clean or not. Overdosing 12 times wasn’t enough for me to stop. But I’ll tell you what was, cus I fought the cravings and quit cold Turkey and I’ve been clean for over 2 years now. My son was with his dad, I knew his dad wasn’t a good parent and my fear of him not being okay kept getting stronger and it turned into hearing God speak to me and instead of telling me what I akwyas heard which was “if I don’t stop my son will lose me” but what he said to me instead was “something bad is going to happen to your boy and he’s going to die not knowing where you are or if you loved him” and I was ready to stop. I realized then, I was ready the entire time but I was fueled by so much pain, from my abusive mother still emotionally and verbally abusing me, from feeling not good enough, for being so convinced that I wasn’t helping anyone and I would only make things worse for my son. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Everything happens when it’s supposed to and I’m grateful I proved myself to him, I’m grateful I GET to be his mom and clean and he deserves the world. His dad is an addict too but unlike me, he never thought he had a problem and never wanted help or thought he needed help and he was a big child, his parents enabled him his entire life and still too. He and his adult brother don’t pay rent, bills, car payments, etc. and it’s hard work cleaning up the mess I made but I did and I’m making living amends to my son every day. Trust me, the guilt and shame of using as a parent and not knowing why our kids aren’t enough to stop. If consequences would get us to stop then addicts wouldn’t exist.

You'd think getting pissed would nullify the link between person and spirit...but then again, it could be someone trying to get him to "Stop" drinking otherwise he'll end up joining them....

My mother was an alcoholic and as a child growing up living with her it was so hard and ruined my childhood with her behaviour and other kids laughing at you because of that and then losing her at 19, you're all right for calling him out on this and it's really not fair on the child
