Mi opinión siendo boricua, es que yo le atribuyo a que aqui se consiga las piezas racing desde los años 70 y al ser tan pequeña la isla y tener varias pistas de correr, todos prueban y ajustan facil y no hay q viajar como en Estados Unidos que para llegar a una pista hay que viajar horas , y otra es que no le tenemos miedo a que se rompan, los americanos , y algunos otros paises dicen si lo vas a hacer turbo , monta vielas y pistones forgados , en PR es lo contrario casi siempre, coge un carro de fabrica hazlo turbo sin abrir el motor para ver cuanto aguanta y después que corra duro o se rompa es que lo modifican , a toda costa a nivel que si no hay piezas racing ,le ponen de otras marcas o de otro modelo, saludos.

@lsxbig I don't know if you saw the race but a Pro Mod car didn't win Outlaw vs Extreme, El Humilde is the only 3/4 Chassis car in the class that year.

The rules are super tailored for the Imports that's why it's even competitive. They can be 800 lbs lighter and are allowed to use nitrous with turbos. If both were allowed to go all out it wouldn't even be close so calm down import guys

@@Bluefirekeys Most of the imports weigh 2400 pounds or more and they use NOS to spool up the turbo, not for the run. Do some research

Gospel Bro!. I'm not taking anything away from the imports, they are truly awesome machines, but I did notice exactly what you said in this vid. During WCF I didn't pay much attention. Maybe it's a regulation thing...I don't know.

That's like saying lets add two more pistons to these 2jz....doesn't make any sense. 5.68 is crazy fast no matter what car you're running, and the import record is 5.55. That'll earn anyone's respect that's actually involved in the sport.

All v8 run backhalfs cars ,but the import run promod frames,not fair ,why don't the run the same set up .

jett Ironside I’m sure by now the rules are outdated. Imports numbers have changed so much since World Cup first began and they have been making constant improvement throughout the years with their cars. At the end of the day, everyone is just out here really for the entertainment and the import teams are more focused on breaking records than winning some races here and there.

If your talking about top fuel thats a major hp diff your talking at least 8k hp of a difference besides the 2jz is pretty awesome for 6 cylinders

La Pali Racing true, that is an amazing engine no doubt at all. In fact there are plenty of experts who believe the inline 6 cylinder configuration is probably the most efficient engine out there (least reciprocal vibrations etc) and in terms of getting the maximum output or bang for bucks. The BMW inline 6 engine is another great one. It's just that one can only go so far with it before you have to turn to 8 cylinders and bigger capacity to reach the horsepower needed to go as fast as what top fuelers do. But I really respect what the import racers have achieved, amazing actually.
