I learned how to these tips when I was 16. I used to run in 3 inch heels with a US size 5.5. Yeah it makes a difference when you have a smaller foot. nice advice however. I see a lot of women stumbling in heels because they ARE LEANING THEIR ENTIRE BODY FORWARD. Should have spoke to that as well in addition to leaning back when they walk. They wont be able to lean back if their entire body is hunched forward.

Thank you so much for this teaching. I am 60 years young and decided to wear high heels again as age tends to shrink one and we lose our confidence. So I find this very helpful and start with a kitten heel first which is low and elegant until I move onto the platform heel then stilettos. God bless you Parmita. You are very graceful and lovely.❤

And Jesus Christ believes in when a female is age 15 for the oldest males are to be for them to be age 25 being 10 years apart and if males are 40 of age as an example the oldest female to be age 50 only . I don´t know what he believes in when females are age 14 and younger to be with what age the oldest male to be for them though . The Blessed Mary & Jesus Christ never told me . Only this stuff .

What about walking heels on different surfaces because I do well with carpet but tiles etc it feels like I’m going to fall because of how slippery the floor is .

Yes, and color of the tiles is often a complex texture so dirt wouldn't be so easily seen. Sadly, water or other spilled liquids are not seen too. It's freaking easy to trip and fall in heels on tiled floors, no matter how careful you are

First thing I do with my new heels I take them outside and rub the soles on cement so I don't slip all over place. I always get them a half size smaller warm them by shoving a hair dryer inside and stretch the tight areas heat and get my foot in stretch them to my feet, and areas I feel too much pressure I heat stretch, Some are at an odd angle and I need to break in like ballerina point shoes I bend and twist them, Obviously certain materials you can't do this with. I got sick of buying heels I couldn't walk in not matter what I paid or the brand, now I look for quality and go thru my break in routine... Definitely rub your heels on cement!!!!!!!!

When I reached the age to wear heels my grandma had me stand with a book on my head and walk back and forth keeping the book on my head. it mad me do all you suggested in one swoop.

All correct! Awesome tips. I realized for the first time in my life that my natural walk is made for heels. I step on heel to toe and lean backward in any shoes. That's why I don't wear flat shoes, a small heel or platform only. I walk slower in heels, but that's what heels make you do, otherwise your feet get tired very soon. Unfortunately, I don't wear heels too often, as I'm quite tall and feel like a giant wearing them. My other problem is very narrow and small feet (US 5-6), so I slip out of the most classic heels. The solution I found is either Mary Jane design or detachable straps.

I look for where the heel is positioned on the shoe. The heals that are positioned more to the back or front will impact your center of gravity. Ilook for heels positioned under the middle of my heel.

I have worked in shoe production. I wouldn't recommend stretching them out up front. The sweat and heat of your foot will mold the shoe and stretch it out over time. If you get a cobbler to stretch it at the beginning of their lifespan, you will end up with shoes that don't fit in much shorter time. ...Then you will need those heel pads. This happens more with leather and natural shoes. I very often see people with shoes that are WAY too big for their feet....and that is a safety hazard when walking. You can buy a perfect fit but remember those will stretch over time too. If you want your investment to last then get, for example, your pumps , a little small. They will form around your foot. Also notee that "vegan leather" is just various forms of PU..... meaning oil based plastic (not landfill friendly). They will not mold or stretch the same way as leather, if they stretch at all. Also remember that your foot swells throughout the day... so don't make a drastic "I need to get these stretched" decision after a long night. Your foot will be larger at the end of the night, but not the next time you put them on.....so also know the cycle of your foot.

omopodeborah2590, well yeah, if there's danger near, I'd quickly remove the heels and prepare to apply my 4" stiletto to the mugger's eyes (or another, better area)... Then run fast as hell (barefoot). They have other convenient uses too. Once anticipating a lovely glass of wine, we realized: no corkscrew around! Yikes! So I used the stiletto of one shoe and the reinforced sole of the other to hammer the sticky little cork down through. Pouring was a bit dodgy, but it worked. Then for reasons unexplainable here, I bundled up blankets and pillow and trundled off to sleep in the college dorm residence bathtub...no Norwegian Wood in there...

Honestly I like them a lot they just don't like me. It's the pain regardless of insole or heel toe. And it's often difficult to find the right size when your feet are wide and most of the time you don't even find the size you need
