For myself to Apply 1) embrace learning: read more books and do more research about the things you want to learn more about (human body, philosophy, psychology, chemistry…) 2) fix your diet: slap “not interested “ to every content that won’t add a value to your life 3) overcome hesitations: make your decision to get up and start quickly 4) do less better: stop stressing yourself over the need to do everything and ending up doing so much less, instead, focus on the most important things for you: praying, education(school+ extra learning) , taking care of my body( workout, skincare, diet, sleep, mindful rest) and give your all energy and focus on those three areas. Ask “does it support my main goals?” before making a decision and skip if it doesn’t. 5) practice gratitude: remember how your past self prayed to be where you are and have the opportunities you had today every single day and realise how many of your dreams have come true. Don’t forget to be grateful for those you have while chasing other goals and motivate yourself with gratitude. Thank you Jun for this great video and ideas!

I personally think it's kind of unusual for people to share their own interpretations of videos in the comments, because people often make obvious statements, but your comment in particular helped me a lot to stick the content of the video in my mind in a more personal and simplified way and helped me understand it much better. Thank you Girl 🤝

But then my school removed the gud kid grading stuff and i was crying thinking i was gonna fail but then i found u jun. You are the only reason why i am in 7th grade and top student in my class.

I can vouch for music's influence on you. I was on a missionary program for 3 years and they encourged us to listen to more light hearted or music with good meanings. (I used to listen to like post hardcore and screamo) And i decided to listen more chill Christian music and i noticed subtle change to my mindset, and being more cheerful in general.

I am 26 turning 27 this year. I have been in a cycle of anxiety for all of my 20's basically... I want to come out of this cycle... I am scared of being stuck here forever... All my opportunities just vanish and I am stuck watching from the sidelines... I heard this one quote, that resonated with me a lot: 'Fear kills more dreams, than failure ever will'... And this has been me all my life... Too scared to act

I have been there before. Thankfully, I manage to get out of depressive cycle. How I did is looking back in 10 years and ask myself that do I feel good about what I did for past of these years? The obvious answer would be no and I can tell how much I hate it and I hate for being sorry for myself. I hate where I was. I hate being seen as a burden. I'm sick of it all. I'm sick of anything that hinder me from being able to grow positively. I'm sick of being waiting for someone to save me or when things get better. I'm sick of it. I told myself that I'm done with telling myself that I don't deserve happiness. This time, I do want happiness. I want it, just like anybody have it. That's when I start setting up the boundaries that would protect my emotions from being controlled/manipulated by others, as well as my intrusive thoughts (you can look up metacognition, which is basically like thinking about thinking loll, which helps me a lot) I also decluttering anything in my life that didn't help me growing to achieve my goals, for instance unfollow any pages (include those that self deprecating humor that give me false sense of comfort about where I am), cutting off people that constantly sucking my energy or who are "fair-weather friend", declutter bunch of stuffs or buy storage boxes where I can organize stuffs into to create more space etc. Force myself to start taking care of myself, make sure I eat well and healthy food and workout whether I like it or not. (Surprisingly , it did improve my mental health a lot, I'm so mad that I have to take that route to make it my life better loll) But lately, I tried to find any routine that I would enjoy, like short home workouts with nice music that I can do at my own convenience for almost everyday and build up my healthy diet according to my desires that I know I would enjoy. It would be tough, and it can be scary but worth it, you will be able to feel a lot more light and have more space in your plate that you can fill up with any opportunities you got in future that serve your goals! Of course, I still have depressive episode here and there sometimes, and I manage to create strategies and healthy coping mechanisms to get through and be able to recover from it. I believe you can do it, only you can control your life. You have the power, no one can take that away from you, unless if you let them. You deserve better and happiness, just like anyone else. You are the main character in your own life, write how you like to read when you get older that you would be proud to share stories with others in the hope it would help them as well. :)

So am I, I've attempted to change my habits but it's proven to be quite difficult, I'd made some progress over the past two challenging years. At times, I feel as though I haven't achieved much, but I refuse to let excuses and bitterness consume my life. That's why I've decided to reach out to my family and one friend for support, and I'm also starting therapy this week with a professional. I'm staying focus on take action.

@@asharya5311 When you are delaying some work like getting up from bed or keeping your phone away, just count 321 and keep it away no matter what you are watching. Just get up from the bed after counting 321. It really helps me. This is 321 method. When we are not in the mood to study or do something, use a timer for 5 minute and read just for 5 minute. After using this rule, I automatically started reading atleast 10 min after the timer goes of.

Hi Jun yuh. I don't know if you would ever see this. Hope you do. I want to thank you. Like from the bottom of my heart thank you. Your content had court my eye when I had been mindlessly scrolling away. It made me think quiet Abit. Alot of introspection took place that day for me. I'm in high school. Grade 11. Well I can say that your content had been one of my biggest aids in providing me As in business studies, Economics, History and English. The rest are still in progress. My first term in grade 11 went surprisingly the way I planned, well there were the obstacles but I managed to jump over all of them. I kept a cool mind thanks to you. I'm grateful to you truly. I thought I would never make it. I'm constantly picked on for silly mistakes and it really gets to me. But your videos just always popped into my head. I felt confident like I could do anything. I would wake up almost everyday at 2am and focus on my subjects and also exercise alot. It became a big norm. Now that I'm in term 2. I feel like I'm burnt out. I'm tired I guess. I try to please everyone and I'm a huge pushover according to my friends and some family. I really do try but it always feels like it's never quite there for others. And it gets to me. I want to know how to have a balance and how to stay motivated. Thank you again. YOU'RE AN AMAZING SOUL AND I DEEPLY APPRECIATE YOU. Sorry for shouting there. Thank you. truly. I'm Hannah by the way.🌸

TW: fam issues and mentions of assaults . jun, my father is a bad man that deserves to be in jail. he has been verbally and emotionally abusive to me and the entire family since birth. I live in constant overstimulation because of how shitty and explosive the outbursts are. i can not just leave my mom alone with him. i am afraid the assault for me might become physical too. I can not focus on work either. With no one backing me up and my other relations becoming strained as my mental health plummets i really do not know if i will ever be able to break free. i don't have money for anything. i do wish to harbor multiple skills so i can gain some capital. i think most of my problems would disappear if i do.
