5 Steps to a Film Industry Job! (Entry Level) with NO Experience!
Looking for an entry level job in the film industry? Whether you’re graduating from film school or making a career change to film production life, starting from scratch in the film world with no experience can be difficult!! Today I’m giving you my tips to getting a film job with little to no experience.
It’s never too early to start working towards a life in the film and tv industry, but you have to be ready for a long road of hard work, and in some cases, not a lot of money. There is a LOT to learn about the movie industry from the different departments, to the hundreds of different positions, to the wide variety of budgets that productions may or may not have.
In this video, I’m sharing how I got into the film industry, and how it’s a combination of luck and preparation, and most importantly, hard work. I’m sharing with you how to use the right resources to meet the right people and to rise above the ranks and get yourself seen by the right people. Speaking of that, I’m also discussing WHO you need to impress in order to have a successful career in the film and tv industry.

Ooooo yes tough decision!! There are some benefits to going to film school, but for anyone who’s on the fence, I think there are more benefits to not going and pursuing film a different way. Getting little jobs on different productions is a great start!

I would really like to get a horror movie made one day based on a novel i'm writing. This seems to be a good way to get involved because boring menial tasks is basically the jobs I have now so why not do it with some mobility in the right direction
@ColleenCavolo
@ColleenCavolo 2 жыл бұрын
YES!!! your best bet to getting it made is meeting people than can make it happen! And getting involved in local productions is a great idea :) Also BIG horror fan over here!!! 😍🔪🔮

Your path through the industry will be very different based on your circumstances. The advice provided would work best for a young person who has no real commitments and who isn’t married with children. Interesting content but I did not find it particularly helpful.
