No disrespect but this year no 5A team should be in the top 5 lol I can name 6-7 teams they lose to in 6A convincingly, and were not even sure they can beat SOC.

they would destroy SOC. SOC won one game vs Aledo and it was on a fumble.

@@joshuavandercook4579 SOC was the first real tests they had that year and they failed. "it was on a fumble" So the other 33 points they scored had nothing to do with it? SOC plays DV and Desoto every year. Aledo couldn't dream of scheduling one of those teams. Aledo is a good team but to say the would destroy a two time state champion(maybe 3) who they lost to on the road there is laughable lol.

@@andyodvor2927 yeah a fumble, Aledo about to take the lead and fumbled. Either way one win doesn’t mean “not sure if they can beat SOC.” Congrats on the 3. Aledo has a couple threepeats, and going for 12. One is a blue blood, the other has had a couple good years

Clearly you’re from Texas and most likely an Aledo fan but 12 peat 30 peat’s means absolutely nothing. My original comment said “this year” why are you talking to me about 12 peats? Aledo cant touch the big dogs in 6A but I think they are much closer to the rest than you realize. They will be moving up sooner rather than later and then we will see how it goes on the field.

They literally beat Denton Guyer earlier this year and Guyer is one of the top 6A programs in the DFW metroplex. You don’t have the most state championships in Texas history and not be good. Even in 5A. They could beat plenty of 6A teams with ease. Maybe not the top 8 6A teams that are currently left in the playoffs but that’s expected. They’re at a significant disadvantage by enrollment comparisons.

@@smithsanity2727 Buddy Guyer was 7-4 and lost in the 1st round lol. Aledo can beat teams 7/8-15 but to use Guyer to brag about them is wild lol.
