The first thing I did to my 04 Yellow Jacket GTO was to cut a sunroof into it. I believe my car was the second GTO in St. Louis to have a sunroof put in.

I have an '04 with 61k on the dash. Red, with the red leather interior. I think I wanna keep it damn close to original.

I have an '05 and I am going full return to Holden which IMHO is much better looking. The only remnant of Pontiac is on the steering wheel. If you (or anyone else watching) still have your '04 hood I would be very interested in talking. I drove my "Holden" off the lot brand new and the one piece of advice I would give people is get a tire to match the type of driving you like to do. This thing handled like dogshit with All Season tires but put UHP Summers on it and it is a totally different car. Goes from a total handful with horrible power on oversteer to a decent neutral handling car. It has way more power than All Seasons can handle. It is not nimble by any stretch of the imagination especially if you are use to more modern sporty cars, it will quite frankly feel like driving a truck. But there is track speed in this thing in the right hands. But if 1/4 miles and burnouts is your thing and then ignore everything I wrote.

Damn bro I do love the color! The first thing I always do to a car is make it fast and then pluck away at the looks/ customization, but we all have different goals and different budgets.

I hate the single dual exhaust exist on the 04's. It just looks ridiculous hearing a V8 come from a single exit, as compared to the dual exists on the 06 6.0.

Why does it beep at 130mph?Does yours have the mode/set + - button to set maximum speed? You can lower it to whatever 25mph and it not got faster but the 04 auto gto has a max setting of 130mph. Is there a way to turn that off as it says "maximum speed 130mph" and wont go any faster with the stahl cam headers tune. Is there somewhere in the tune file to adjust this setting or turn it off or raise it to 200mph?

Bro I have to know what exactly you did for your exhaust??? I’m in Cali so have to keep the stock mids… but I have stock mids to stock resonators, then straight pipes (muffler delete) out to the stock tips. You don’t even have headers and your shit sounds banging bro!!! wtf!!! Almost sounds mildly cammed I have jba shorties too .. my plan was to delete the resonators and make a custom H pipe from the cats back and keep the true duals on one side. I have to know what’s under your exhaust!

Love the color! Personally, for my '04...I want to do some Chevy Cavalier badges on the back! Just joking, but it really does look like a Cavalier on steroids. The first thing I did was remove the spoiler...I think it looks a lot cleaner. I like the understated look of the 04's. A few years ago there was one for sale here in NE Ohio at a dealer that had a cream colored paint job and Tempest badges. I thought that was great! The color looked pretty good as well.
