-Cup holder: Great point, it sucks. Not a problem if you have an Automatic. -2.73 gearing: it's geared towards highway pulls and fuel economy. But I get what you're saying. -Hood prop: I agree, gas struts would be nice, however those can fail. -Ride height: ... It could be lower. But I feel it's made that way for ground clearance and idiot proofing. -Technology: it is dated. Even for 2014. Why didn't they just put in MyFordTouch? Who knows. Kits do exist to upgrade it to a carplay capable center screen

1. Thats why I drive the automatic. When you have cups there when you drive you tend to spill it anyway at least when you drive it properly ;) 2. get the V8 3. Because the hood struts tend to give in at certain temperatures. ask me how I know. 4. you dislike it until you bottom out a couple of times with a lower suspension. 5. Thats part of the charm for me. I hate the new LCD bullshit which make every car look identical in the inside. One odd thing is the trunk because it has this weird step in the back which make the foldable backseats somewhat useless.

My least favorite part of owning an s197 is all of the reflective bits in the interior driving with any direct sunlight turns the inside of the car into a disco ball

I have a 2014 Mustangt GT automatic, like the cup holders, like the hood rod struts fail after a time. Want a more updated interior, pay for it I have an 8" touchscreen in my dash and all sorts of bells and whistles with the track pack, interior lighting and electric heated seats...the works you get what you pay for. Quit complaining about the cheapest mustang that they make because it doesnt 10 grand of fancy electronic components it it...the upscale mustang like mine do have it...but I paid almost 50 grand for it, not 20.

I had the dynavin N7 fitted in mine with rear camera , it makes such a difference too the interior . I think the cup holders are useless 👍

Bro your complaining about small things you want a lowered car why not just get H&R lowering springs...for the wheels get some ferrada wheels i have these same model 2013 exact look and color when i bought it had ugly wheels previous owners had already lowered the car but put ugly wheels so i put ferrada wheels and some nittos, i also put wilwood calipers, steeda wing ... yes the cup holders are an issues rest eeeh... its its whatever you can always upgrade your stereo system put an after market one you dont necessary have to keep it stock 😒... want it lowered to not have a gap thats why you modfy it how you want it to be its a race car of course its crampy inside

My biggest complaint is the SYNC with my phone.. I have to reconnect my phone for musoc every time I get in. I traded in my 2019 Pathfinder that auto connected any time I got in the car. I also went from 360° view cameras... which I miss. However, she's fun to drive.

Good looking car. I feel most of the complaints were minor. I think Ford was trying to do the retro vibe from the original Mustang. I understand where you are coming from, but it is a STANG! Awesome!

1. Cup holder: most cars are like this. Don't drive manual if you can't live with the struggle. My last 6pd didn't even have the option! 2. Gear ratios. The v6s is to the mpg efficient version. Easy to change my dude. 3. Engine prop. Don't fix what works better than hydraulic rods that fail. 4. Ride height: Yeah. I feel you. Yours is better than like the new edge cars. 5. Technology. Dude. Really? They're more advanced than the Corvette of that year's interior. Stop crying. Side note: the s197 interior shits on basically everything else. These cars aren't 30k anymore. They're 8-12

Tge cupholders are part of why I didn't get manual to learn. I wanted a mustang v6. Initially iw wanted to learn manual, but I cant imagine trying to shift with drinks in the cup holders.

My 2014 has a backup Camara and when somebody gets close behind me she beeps i have those sensor as well

Have you ever had a hood struts go bad when you are under the hood.... trapped my right hand under the hood and latched .... stuck like a rat in a trap.....

Except for the cup holder all easy fixes. And I don't know where they would put the cup holders.

I get that hydraulic hood struts are cool. but not when they fail and you are too cheap to buy new ones.

I have the exact same car and that was literally my biggest gripe about the f****** car is the fact that I can't shift properly when I've got a passenger with a bottle I have to literally ask them hey man can you hold your drink when I got cup holders it's a little embarrassing

The technology and rear gear ratio complaints are BS. I have the '14 GT 5.0 Convertible Premium with Brembo brake package. What you're lacking are options that yours is just lacking because it's just basic the V-6 model. he only option above the basic model is you have the Shaker audio system w/o the subwoofer. Mine has the 8-inch touch screen with optional wheel, knob, and button controllers. Dual zone climate control. Yours was configured for fuel economy over performance thus the basic 2:73 gear. I mean who buys a basic v-6 naturally aspirated Mustang expecting more? Now I agree with you ride height, that was easy for me to fix some affordable Ebach Sport springs (took 3 hours in the driveway). Prop rods $35 bucks Amazon warehouse deal (30 minute and beer to install).
