1. Pride rules and pride venue 2. Update the roster so that each division has everyone in the top 15 in each division. 3. Better ground game( once you’re on bottom and they lock in a joint submission there’s no getting out of it). 4. Realistic cuts where blood will actually start dripping on the mats. 5. Different looks for fighters that have changed their appearance over time like Mcgregor, Chito, Jones.

Ground game in general needs to be revamped. Undisputed had the best ground game mechanics. And EA MMA had the best ground n pound. When I ground n pound someone I expect it to truely feel like the fight can end any second. None of this throwing 5 strikes before the game automatically makes you lose your posture up position. Not to mention I want elbows to actually slice up opponents and cause a doctor stoppage

1. Cut Stoppages 2. Standing TKO's 3. Elbows on the ground 4. More realistic stoppages by the ref 5. More arenas to play in Note: I believe this is what EA needs to do to max out the gameplay. my ideas on UFC 5: GAMEPLAY - A gameplay from scratch, with new engine and mechanics, playing smooth and fluid. they have been recycling the same clunky game for last 2 titles - Better Striking system, more fluid and free like UFC 2 - Enhanced ground game and submission systems. ground game like UFC Undisputed 3, submissions like EA MMA - Returning of elbows & hammer fists in GNP (i know they are there in side positions, but im talking about main positions where they are missing) - Follow-ups like UFC 2 or UFC Undisputed 3, the fight doesnt end with an instant knockout, you can keep punching until ref stops - More realistic damage & Doctor stoppage KOs - Better controls. I know this is not moves but just thought that it would be a nice addition to the UFC video game series! Would love to see the signing of posters on the Embedded Vlog Series as well. Would also love weigh-ins where you actually have control of your fighter, instead of just a pre-made clip.

EA to UFC 5: "I can't let you get close."

1. Fight Cards and make it more like a real event where you watch the fight in first person in the area or choose a regular game cam or own camera position. 2. Physics based blood in the cage which gets everywhere if the fighters walk over and grapple in it. Also there needs to be blood pools on the canvas if you stay for longer on one place with a horrible cut 3. New damage system which is realy deep and tracks where you hit the fighter so it looks realistic with the cuts and bruises on the right places and with lots off variaty to not look ecxatly the same even if the cut is on the same position. Broken legs very rare or tko´s with a good liver shot which was a good landing and not based on any meters that tko you at zero. Referee stoppages. 4. Pride mode fully done not just a ring and rules, but also entrances and all. 5. Create a octagon and a CAF mode like you can do in WWE 2K22 and share it also. 6. Replay system. I enjoyed UFC Undisputed 3 so much to make a montage ingame and share it and get views. Also EA MMA was nice and safed the last replays of players which was very cool to analize peoples plays and find there weakness. 7. Grappling and submission overhaul. Just make grappling UFC Undisputed 3 and submissions like EA MMA. 8. Get rid of combos for sure. It still should support body mechanic movements in a way but not with pre defined combos like that. 9. Bring back Total strike control as an option. 10. Ragdoll Knockouts and Stiff Knockouts which are different all the time and not based on a pre defined animation 11. Better graphics in 4k and real 60fps also on the servers. 12. Ingame chat for people.

1. Allow us to customize our cornerman / coach / entourage. I'm the double champ and my coach looks like he fell out of a Goodwill trailer fully engulfed in fire and grabbing whatever clothes he could find. 2. Have knees to the body when in side control mean something. I've literally spent round after round holding someone in side control delivering knees and some how I'm more exhausted. 3. Clinch game. Fix it. Previous UFC games did it better. 4. Bring back ref stoppages and doctor stoppages. 5. Make the in between round cornering do something. Make it a mini-game. Take care of the cuts and swells like EA Fight Night. Maybe choose a game plan get a temporary stat boost. "Heavy hands at the start of the round he wont expect it." (+5 to punches for first 30 seconds of the round), "Take him down and hold him there, tire him out for the next round" (+5 to takedowns in the last minute of the round) ect ect

One thing that would really be awesome is multiple commentary crews. Have the smaller guys for fight night events and bigger names for PPV. Also, get Joe Martinez to be the ring announcer for smaller events just like real life. That kind of thing would be awesome. Get Laura Sanko to do some commentary. I would imagine they could get Bisping easily as he'll do anything for a buck. If they could use some of Rogan's commentary as well it would just be amazing to have so many options to make each event feel unique and more realistic.

1. (Most important) fully customizable CAFs again. The pre set moveset of the CAFs in EA UFC4 has got to be the worst move the company has done. Whoever greenlighted that idea should be fired. 2. Revamped ground work. It's currently a mess. We also need freaking elbows on the ground lol. Whoever took that out should be fired as well. 3. Doctor stoppages, flash KOs, and dirty shots (like fight night). 4. The ability to actually finish the fight consistently. We should be able to continue throwing strikes even when the other fighter is finished. 5. Standing TKOs 6. Prime versions of all Legends 7. Fix the controls. I honestly think they programed the buttons wrong and never fixed it. We all just got used to it. For an example. The switch kicks/spinning kicks involves you having to press the opposite leg strike button. If I want to throw a strike with my left leg I should be pressing the left leg button, NOT the right. Fail UFC 4 is such a downgrade compared to UFC 3.

How about an unbugged core clinch and core ground moves in the career mode. That would be rather nice

I still play UFC 2 on a daily basis. For UFC 5 they should have a fully updated roster with top 30-35 in each weight class, fine tune the striking to be more like UFC Undisputed, get rid of the pre set combos & make it to where any realistic combo flows, add better blood/cuts, tweak damage system, make getting rocked mean REAL danger, revamp submission system, add the elbows & hammerfist for GNP back!!!

I don't think people complained about the submission system in UFC 3 because there was the option to turn it off to replace it with button presses if they didn't like it (in offline modes anyway... I don't play online so I can't speak for those). The two things I would like to see in UFC 5 would be (a) replace longevity in career mode with skill/ability depreciation so the player can retire on their own terms instead of being forced to after 40-45 matches, and (b) a twister submission that actually looks like it is locked in properly before the victim taps out.

Pride mode / rules with legendary pride fighters. A mode of recreating legendary fights. Revamp career mode. Stale once you win the title. More control of the build up and rivalries…. Cutting weight , weigh ins, press conferences etc.

If there is a boxing ring as well and the boxing gloves inside the game also with some old boxers such as Tyson, Ali, Klitschko and Mayweather

I dont feel that the combos systems is bad. Let's say if you have boxing lvl 1 aside basic combos you can perform 25 boxing combos and that is only boxing at lvl 1. At level 3-5 u have enough combos to be creative. At most people usually use 10 combos max.

TKO and doctor stoppage should be more common. 15 unanswered strikes to a blocking opponent should result in a TKO after X amount of block breaks. Also doctor stoppages. If you keep sticking a dude with a cross and his nose is busted up that should matter. Fight Night kinda damage and WWE style career mode would make this awesome.

Here are the major changes that need to happen: _ Revamped clinch: Basically ufc undisputed 3 hit the money on it they should just improve on it. Whether standing clinch or against the cage clinch this need to change completly. _ Revamp takedowns: The one we got in Ufc 4 lacks clarity so much. You never know when you have the advantage or when u defended correctly mostly its done by chance and their impact are almost inexistent meanwhile big one should tire both parties, hurt or cause K.O's _ Revamp the Ground game: Again Ufc undisputed 3 hit on the money. _ Doctor stoppage: Either caused by being too damaged on whatever body part (as 1 strike put you down automatically) or when playing online its a give up animation or a moment of pause when your controller goes off. _ The addition of real TKO's: Not defending properly in those near KO's situation. We should see the ref come and stop the fight. NB: And frankly I'm tired of those huge number of knockdows before K.O ING someone it ain't realistic either K.O the guy or TKO cause poor defense or stop the fight because fighter life is too low but still manage to survive. Ea sports mma was the best online mma game experience. Bring back the jiu jitsu belt ranking system thought that was fire watching your friends fight in a fight card was dope and most importantly the damage was just perfect when it came to striking in ea sports mma the fight can end at any moment but at the same time could be a 5 rd fight if the century idk how they balanced it so well but it was perfect. The fluidity of the combos in mma felt great as well the whole Ufc game series has been pretty bad, besides the beginning of Ufc 3 before all the patches the series has been pretty unenjoyable. Feels like a arcade fighting game instead of a mma fighting game

MOST IMPORTANT CHANGES WE NEEDS : 1. Complete GnP (elbows, hammers all positions, no automatic knee on belly when u strike on side, etc.). Previous EA UFC has that! 2. TKO Stand up AND on the ground (strike a conscient opponent until referee stop U, referee stop before u get completly KO) UFC 2 has that! + doctor stoppage. 3. Finish the fight (strike KO opponent until ref stop u physically) UFC 2 has that! 4. UFC UNIVERSE MODE : Pridefc, Strikeforce, WEC venues + rules sets!!! Plus possibility to participate grappling and kickboxing event with realistic grappling mat and kickboxing ring (its fucking simple!! Strike only or grapplin only). In story mode u can develop ur skill like that or finish/complete youre career with grapplin match, etc. 5. INTERESTING MODE : Career mode like FN Champion, Remake the fight like UFC Undisputed 3 or WWE game and unlock old fighter look, UFC 200 or TUF 1 venue for example, etc... Like WWE 2K content

Ufc 5 needs to be like the old UFC’s like ufc 2 u can raw dog brawl and blood splashes on the Matt that doesn’t happen in 4 and stand up finishes like against the cage so it could be more realistic I can say more but don’t know how to explain but ufc 2 is my all time favourite game.

The only one I disagree is number 3. I like ranked gameplay being 2 divisions each hour. It makes matchmaking shorter and better in regions like Australia. So no I really hope they dont change that.

Take down systems needs to be re worked. In ufc 4 it doesn’t feel fluid going from striking to grappling. How many time I missed a shot due not “holding a button down” Then the ground and pound in ufc 4 is not good, remove the grapple advantage timer that determines how many strikes you can throw/land. Ufc undisputed 2009 was such a unique experience when I was younger due to having to learn interesting transitions on the right stick. Hell you could “catch” submissions while a opponent threw strikes from a open guard position! Which was awesome! And the submission system doesn’t need to be a chase the meter mini game. It’s redundant. I love the submission aspect of mma. But this game only makes me want to be a kickboxer. It’s sad

From this video the 2 things that stuck out the most to me are the ranked weight class thing. That thing is super fucking annoying I don't even know who the fuck greenlit that idea in the first place it doesn't make sense. And for me specifically, I care very much about the ground and submission aspect of the game because that is my favourite part of real life MMA. So definitely they need a new submission system and it must be balanced. Right now the submission system feels quite favoured towards the escaper, and it also seems like it's TOO based on stamina. There must be multiple factors that determine how submissions are finished. It can't just be stamina. Damage should influence it as well. But most important is the minigame it needs to be something that is a little intricate and it must be something that if you practice a lot on, you should be able to submit people with almost equal stamina to you. As you say the system from UFC 3 probably needs to make a return or even better if they come up with some kind of new system. But the one they have in UFC 4 needs to go. Ground and pound as well is very strange in UFC 4. It feels like you're not doing any damage with punches.

I disagree heavy on submissions. Ive never felt like subs were over powered at all. Certain subs were stronger than others but thats definitely realistic except for gogoplata from mount. I mean if someone tries to choke you out from your back Belly on the matt you're not getting out. The game got it out and its not as hard to get used to as the old one. New players won't just quit out as soon as you grapple anymore. Btw because of the sub system in the older games no one grappled in them anymore
