Hey! East London isn’t that bad! Last week when I got mugged in Hackney the skengman was even kind enough to let me keep my travel card so I could get back home :) I’m starting Med at Imperial this year by the way! 🔥🙂

@@bm_of_jimin Hey, I would suggest some of the south kensington halls if they fall within your budget otherwise, woodward and kemp porter look fantastic and you definitely wouldn't regret it. Great info! I'm looking to apply to Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial for 2022 entry and videos like these will always be useful to break the stereotypical views of the uni. I've got the same wallpaper as you, so hopefully that's a sign I'll make it to get in.

Haha when I say snakes I mean people who act like your friends but have a very "backstabby" attitude. Eg people who'll be like I'm not doing any work but actually be cramming hard throughout the year and then top the year

@@mochaxbear I'd say just prepare a lot for the MAT (if you're taking it) and make sure you're relaxed in the interview. I'd say treat the interviewer kind of like a close teacher and you'll be fine - remember that they want you to succeed too. Also, the interview questions are relatively easy - it's not like they want you to be able to solve crazy problems, but rather to be able to explain your thought process well. So, if you're preparing for your interview, don't stress too much about revising, but maybe instead practice working on problems in front of others and explaining everything you're doing. For the actual interview itself, you can do a few things: I had my personal statement open while I did it, since interviewers usually ask about it for a bit, and I also had a big whiteboard behind me which I borrowed from school - I found it easier to explain when I could just point at a line. Hope this helps!

Im gonna try and apply to the software engineering course at imperial for 2022. I messed up my maths mock badly so I'm kinda scared as I'm an A student but I didn't read the questions properly and ended up getting a C. Either way I did well in my As and got 72% overall. I also just found out 91% of the course is male so that's gonna be fun lmao 🤡📈📈📈 but it does mean if i get in, I'll increase the diversity quota and hopefully encourage more girls to get into computing and coding.

As an Imperial College graduate my career turned out just fine. From engineering to finance with a great salary and prospects so can't complain. Although it has been years since my graduation the itch of not attending Cambridge never went away. Imperial is not a lesser university but, you know, it is.

Hey mate, sorry for the super late response, Imperial is definitely an amazing choice! It ranks amongst the top few unis for aero engineering consistently. Having a look at rankings, it seems like oxbridge and bath are also pretty great choices!

Hey, Imperial is quite a competitive university and is reasonably tough to get into. Whether they look at GCSEs or not depends upon your course eg for medicine they don't look at them at all. A good place to find out exact requirements would be the imperial website, using the freedom of information to see the average GCSEs of successful applicants and popular websites regarding your course that talk you through what you need to be a competitive applicant. Hope this helps :)

Hey, unfortunately I am not too sure about that. I think the best approach is to email the Imperial Admissions team and/or perhaps the Business school. They should guide you in the right direction.

Why did you disrespect East London. There are plenty of nice and student friendly areas in every part. East London only has a bad reputation due to the amount of Asians and Africans in the Area and it’s a shame the subtle racism has found its way to mainstream media

@@DoctorDevify No worries I completely understand. The areas in England with a bad rep often have the most BAME. Since the underfunding and neglect of those areas means it’s the only places these people can afford, which continues it’s hate and the cycle of poverty and neglect and fuels a negative agenda. Mainly from Tory classist snobs, I don’t blame you mate you seem like a nice guy and I hope I can get into Imperial just like you one day!
