One thing I would hammer into new player's head is: IF YOU ARE IN THE LEAD YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTACK ZAPDOS. YOU NEED TO DEFEND ZAPDOS. I have lost so many fights where we are demolishing the enemy and my team for some unknown reason attacks zapdos when all 5 enemy team is alive. They of course steal it and we lose.

I prefer to wipe the enemy team, then melt zap to add insult to injury lolol. Just recently started using greninja and his ult is scary good at stealing zap last minute.

Also don't forget to ping where you are going. Your teammates can't read your mind and may engage into a fight thinking you are there and die when you're just killing middle crabs

I wish people would learn the jungle tip FASTER! I'm fed up with being a jungle and having teammates call top or bot and they come in and take some of my farm before going to lane. Me being level 3 is going to make those ganks work really well! God forbid I get to level 5 immediately and be able to do some real damage for the team.

On my first rank match I call out I'll go jungle (I'm using Zeraora) twice and everyone said okay but as soon as the match start all of my team are in jungle we lost coz from the beginning to end everyone on my team is in jungle while I'm trying my very very best to defend top and bottom, the match end with me level 15 with 21 kills and 240 point while my team are between level 6 and 8 and zero kills or points. Ever since that first match my rank experienced is spotty sometimes I get 3 afks on my team or if no afk well they will over commit and bottom but can't win any fight or school anything.

Other than buying the basic Battle Pass, I have been playing this game completely free to play since nearly day one. Just wanted to let everyone know you get a lot from the game in free to play. I have 16 unite licenses, 9 level 20 items (could have 10 or 11) and haven't used a level 30 enhancer yet, and nearly all the clothing from the energy system (I still want the Talonflame skin ;_;). Free to play was much easier to collect than I thought, it just took over a month.

But I want them to increase aeos weekly coins from 2100 -> 5000 so we can buy licenses every 2 weeks

@@yukiharu8059 Even an increase to 3000 would be nice since there is daily coins and always new ways to collect more coins. The cheapest mons are 6000 so 3000 could technically get you a mon every 2 weeks. Plus the 1000 coins for dailies to get an 8000 mon in 2 weeks.

Yeah, I have only played since mobile release and I have 8 unite licenses and 9 once I get cinderace from the login reward tomorrow, 3 level 30 items, 3 level 20 items and 1 at level 15. And the stakeout garchomp outfit. And thats in a week.

That jungling tip needs to be mentioned way more than it is, it has been so annoying with people taking my experience or others who call middle lane, I literally just spam retreat to try to get rid of them or I have to wait till the last hit to steal it from them

Bonus Tip: Every time you KO a neutral pokemon, you gain +5% cooldown on your unite ability.

It’s really - REALLY - annoying when the jungler steals the first Aipom from either the top or bottom lane. You should never be competing with your teammates for experience.

It's so baffling that all the content creators of pokemon unite says that dreadnaw is "important" or "best", you'd think that everyone would know that you have to rotate at bottom at at least 7:30 or earlier mark They've said so many things about dreadnaw and i don't think any of it stuck.

Im beginner, but my experience from other moba games gives me knowledge abt roles and ideas on what to do, like a common sense for this type of game, but im fed up with players being queued with me, the enemy team is always synchronized while i have 2 attackers on my team that wont even lane properly, a speedster with no idea what he is doing, and an afk all rounder, i play defender role mostly and it just sucks when u r teamed up with those kind of players, even worse it's like most of my rank matches happen to be like that, i can get out of great class

Big tip for people is when starting out if you dont want one of the starters they give you at the beginning take pikachu and you will get pikachu again from the event but it will give you 8000 gold instead which is enough to buy almost anyone else.

I was trying to help people out who wanted a different pokemon to start. Let me break it down easy enough for you to understand ok? You have a choice u can pick from these 4 apples or you can pick from these 15 apples that include the 4 which would you pick?

Also a semi hidden feature with the score shield is as long as you have an over shield you can’t be stopped scoring. So if you use buddy barrier with the score shield you use your unite move before you score. This gives you a lot of shield to keep scoring.

Keep in mind, some Pokemon can't score right after their Unite move. They have to wait a few seconds.

I just had the amazing opportunity of matching with our resident content cowboy in solo queue! He played Pikachu top lane and I played Talonflame in jungle! The result? We got crushed. It was my first game in ranked as Talonflame…SORRY JAKE!! 😭

What helped me get majority of wins is just focusing on farming xp and stealing enemy side xp so when i do eventualy push we can snowball. If one side is tripled forget it they alrrady snowballed focus on oppossite side and push an advantage there so that side snoballs in your favor and once that enemy shifts either get rid of any obtainable xp for them and defend or shift away to push another frontline

It is nice to try the 4-5 pokemon that have the clock in the upper left hand corner out in standard mode as well. (As a side note using them counts for the using a certain type missions) Last week they had lucario, this week is mime, garchomp, greninja, and absol.

I always hate having a Zeraora on my team or the other. They always stay in the jungle, steals your farms and doesn’t really help in fights they just goal. I once had a Zeraora teammate, and I needed some time to goal cause the enemy was standing on the goal post. I pressed I need back up but just completely ignored me and farmed.

How would you buff Zard? If it were up to me, I’d buff his early game. Flame burst needs a damage buff. Obviously it can’t and shouldn’t be able to chunk enemies but if it did an extra 50 damage it would be better

Another pro tip. Switch version has an offline mode where you can try all the licenses. Hit X on the title screen to access it. It’s must better to trying out all the pokemon in a real game cos it’s a full game with 9 bots.

I'm still new to Pokémon Unite I'm Only a level 7 and I mainly play Talonflame, but I do know how Moba games work I've played Smite for years. Have some experience with LoL, Dota/Dota 2, Paragon, Mobile Legend, and Genesis. But the roles in the game still confuses me are speedsters junglers? Solo laner/warrior class/bottom laner? I've been staying bottom lane the whole time and is there skill based matchmaking? Because I've been wrecking everyone. I don't know if I'm against new players or I just got the knowledge of Moba game or it's because I'm playing an OP starter Pokémon?

I came from mobile legends and I feel like my experience with MOBA helped a lot. Because you know certain things for example how important it is to take control of the lane first. Also zapdos is basically lord in mobile legends. So definitely a game changer if it's a close match

Same honestly. Lately I've been letting the opponents take bottom lane so I can push top. Sure I break both goals on my own but we are still in massive disadvantage point wise and their levels are higher

Welcome to Pokemon Unite where all information/ mechanics are hidden. Unite-db and serebii are good sources for such information. As for some of the hidden mechanics like move combo , you can just these content creators.

Hey, today I played 2 quick battles in switch (because my connection is sometimes bad so I have to test it out and then play rankeds). In the first one, the counting points scene said that my team won 124 vs 0 points, but in the end in my battle record it was added as a defeat. The same thing happened with the second battle where my team won 111 to 8 (the whole match was literally "we are in the lead" and also in the final results), but in the end it was counted as a defeat. Idk why and I am afraid of playing rankeds rn, bc I have just reached master. Anyone else has this bug too? How can I submit it in order to the admins can solve the problem? Thanks, btw sorry for my bad english.

If your score was higher than opponents and you got the loss (not including surrender) then I'd definitely make them aware of it via reddit or twitter. However dont pay too much attention if it's the game telling you during the match. For example there was a match last week that said we were really struggling even though we had the same goal posts as opponents. At the end of the match we ended up winning 726 to 245 so really doubtful we were actually struggling when it told us

A lot of the time I'm the only one picking a lane then 2-4 teammates will follow me up that lane... (I don't play ranked though)

That's the hard part of solo. 4 people run in the top lane for no reason and still lose the lane to 3 people. In most matches I'll be scoring the bottom lane alone because I can't just leave the lane with no defense . Seriously it's a pain . Team mates doesn't even care about Rotom or Drednaw.

I have the opposite problem. I pick a lane and it's me alone vs 3 or 4 opponents then I call for backup and no one comes. I still end up scoring more points than everyone else but obviously most of the time we still lose

@@BurninPhoenix this right here. My biggest pet peeves. I dont mind solo carrying but for christ sake man I'd like to be paired with people who actually carry their weight

@@vt_hikaru Me too dude. But the fact is , we are running alone and no one cares if we get destroyed or enemies score like crazy or get Dreadnaw. The only time someone comes with me, is when there's an AFK player and his bots takes over. Tbh I'm happy for that part since the bot would co-operate with me far better than the real players.

yes. I was looking for this comment because I thought I mightve been tripping. focus band gives you three instances of health back when your health gets to a certain threshold and that threshold is much lower than the one in the video

I can usually tell 2 mins in if we will lose. The clear indicators are a player starting afk, player not taking the lane they're supposed to, getting into 1v3 situations, etc. Sure zapdos may flip around the score but let's be honest if your team struggled with different issues before then the likelyhood of you getting zapdos is super low

@@vt_hikaru this is exactly my experience. Kinda takes the fun out unless you’re doing ranked where people are a bit more organized :/ but I don’t always wanna play competitive just wish people had a couple more brain cells.

I would also highly advise people to select Pikachu to start with. Seeing as they give you a Pikachu for free right after, you start the game with a bonus 6k coins (Pikachu refund). In conjunction with the tutorial coins, you'll have 11k+. Buy your Pokemon of choice at that point.

@@AverageHandle_ if the starter Pokemon aren't what you want and you wanna start playing right away, this is the best option. You won't be getting 10k coins any faster than this method.

My first pokemon I bought is lucario for 10k at the time I was getting coins like crazy so I didn't realise how important they are..... Now I only have 6k and it's taking forever to stack up. I have no idea what to get next.... Talon?, cinderace?

You'll get Cinderace and Greninja for free if you log in to the game for 14 days! Talonflame is good, and so is Blastoise, but it all depends on what you'd like to play.
