My son was killed in an ATV accident almost 15 yrs ago. He’d just turned 10 yrs old. One of my most favorite things is if someone sends me a picture of him I’ve never seen!❤ When pictures and momentousare all you have left of a person they take on a whole new meaning! I’ve always been a sentimental person and said after my family, pictures are the first thing I’d save if there was ever a fire. I’ve never lost a spouse so I won’t pretend I know what you’re going through but I do feel like an expert in the grief journey for sure! I got pregnant a yr after my son died and had another little boy. One of the things that hurts the most is knowing I will never have all of my children in one photo. There’s so many little things like that you get sad about when someone who’s supposed to be there is missing! I’m so sorry for your loss! You’re doing a fantastic job! I didn’t know your husband but I’d bet money he is so proud of you! I like to think if I connect with another grieving person down here, that maybe my son Zack has connected with their loved one in Heaven. My wife has Stage 4 cancer... The one thing I hear the most, is that you wanted more.... I get that. Also yes, we have to do so much to take care of our boys, after! Some of it we got. We have a book of life for the rest. It has all the insurance papers, the trust papers, the insurance information, and all of that legal stuff. We also have a very trusted person, with back up, to see that final wishes and instructions are taken care of. We are in the process of refinancing the house away from a Government loan to a standard mortgage, so the trust can take it over and our son's have a place to live. There is so much to do and so little time. Seeing some of your story, you did the one thing above the rest in importance. Spend every second you could together. My wish for everyone. is that they learn just how special and precious life is.

Good list of things to discuss while a spouse is still living. We need to Love as much as we can today cuz tomorrow isn't guaranteed. 💕

It's something because my kids dad recently passed away and a week before seeing your video it was as if God was preparing me for the change not only that but my grandmother passed the same day he did. It was a major blow but I will never forget you because I was in awe of your story and a week later it happened to me. I admired your story and you provide such strength and encouragement. My husband passed as a grandma 15 years ago, and even for us, I so wish we had done all the same…….I combed through every drawer and pocket so wanting to find a note or letter in the six months we had after diagnosis. Too busy trying to keep him alive and hopeful…… Your sons are adorable💙💙

It's so sad these days nobody goes to olan mills and gets pictures done anymore. Everything's on everybody's phone and taken that way. When you walked into homes it use to be pictures of people on the walls it's not anymore. I have a lot of old photos of family just don't know who to give them to to ensure they don't get thrown away when I'm gone.
