I have a 5 month old Pom called Nooshka and a 10yr old cocker spaniel called Poppy. Poppy has helped me tremendously and now Nooshka is perfect! She a joy, happy nosey loving clever easy to train. She hangs on my every word. She’s like a cat a human a dog all rolled in to one. She holds my ❤

A collar is for ID tags only. Use a well fitted harness with a 6 foot leash on your Pomeranian for walks.

I bought my puppy Pomeranian a collar for his ID tag and a harness with a 5 foot leash, why do you recommend 6 foot instead?:)

@@alaynahlol if 5' works for you thats great. I use 6' so that I have 2 feet from resting arm (by side) to arm at mid waist (raised) so that extra 1' is for my arm movement without interference with the dog's movement and my forward steps... so the leash doesn't pull back. 🐕👩‍🦯

@@PoM-MoM I just got my puppy today haha, thats why I was wondering. I have to get him used to a leash and everything first but so far 5ft seems good. He's deaf and I need to have him pretty close to me anyway so 5 feet has worked well so far :)

My Pomeranian is almost 15 now, he was a rescue at 5 months old. There smartest dog I've ever had. He's also my service dog for brittle diabetes. He's saved my life several times. I never use a regular leash always retractable and harness, a collar can get tangled up in their mane. His tags are on the harness. I also had him chipped when he was neutered. His been my all for over 14 yrs, so smart, funny, entertaining and so lovable.❤ Only issue is his collapsing trachea, which he's on medication. Will never have another breed.

Best dog I ever had, and I've had many over my 80years. only problem I 'm having is when we play he bites me, never hurting me but my skin isn't like when I was young, how can I eliminate this ?

I would love one of these raving beauties! I had a American Eskimo Mini. Looked just like these babies. After seeing all their needs, I would not be a good choice for them. Im a lazy owner, and older. I dont do walks at all. I have 3 small dogs now, and they drive me crazy! I have spoiled them so bad, they tell me what to do. They all seniors, and Im already preparing myself for that awful good-bye to the sky Day. Im still not over my last baby. Hes been gone now, 10yrs. However, I cant live without dogs now. You blessed to have one of these beautiful babies!

I do have a Pomeranian and he is black and brown and he is so cute and he is my baby that I love ❤ so much!!!😊 I am having a problem with him eating his food and I don't want to keep adding table food in my dog's food cause I don't want anything to happen to him. I have to bring him down to the vet to get checked and discuss this problem with his vet. But in other words my baby is doing well and he is so funny and cute 😍

Use a secured car seat for your Pomeranian and have it in the back seat only. Don't give your dog treats or food when you're driving.

We have 4 month old Pom. Cute as a peanut but stubborn !!! She barks at a shadow or nothing . Not giving up on her with training . Love the little girl.

I took my Pomeranian puppies to Pet Smart interactive group training. We went for 6 weeks, every Saturday 2 hours. To socialize and learn leash and stay and sit and so she didn't bark so much because she 'knew' that they were friend's and not so much barking to be protective of you. Pomeranian's are fiercely loyal. Protect them by training them because they THINK they are HUGE dogs. They are HUGE spirits in little bodies.

Prince, my Pom took a year to fully potty train. Thought he was defective. JK LOL They are not like other dogs. Once he matured a little. He will do anything for a treat. Sit, Roll over, Play Dead as a door nob, Shake, and Jump thru hoops. Everyone loves watching him. Having to add extra tricks to make it more fun for him. Doing Speak now. He will be trained in a couple of days. He is Around 8 and he learns like a puppy should. Never liked animals really. This little guy Changed that in a Hurry. Glad my daughter got him.

Had a black lab border collie and a golden retriever, I taught them so many tricks . However my Pomeranian is hard to train , he’s too hyper 24/7 while trying to train I end up giving up 😅

My Pom is 1year and 4mos.He is so energetic. I cant control him barking my visitors ,he just behave after tapping him by my visitors, the problem is he cries barking hard and wild when they leave,i think he has a feeling of separation anxiety esp me when i am not around..he cries awowwowwo that's why i have less socializing now

Our Pom is 8 months and has a bad knee but we can't afford the surgery of $2600 I'm looking for a knee brace and hopefully it will help

He likes to sleeps with us, and when we can take hi Riding to parks, me, I take him walking 2 times a day, and bathe him once a month

My pom is 3 months old & has a bad habit of biting. He also looked at my 48 year old son & he bared his teeth. He constantly bites me. He’s bit my face and hands and lower arms& ankles. My hand became swollen. I tell him not to bite but he keeps biting.

They don’t do well in hot weather - they come from the Northern Hemisphere where it is freezing in the Winter - that is why Nature gave them a double thick coat !,

The double coat protects them from heat as well, that’s why the worst thing you can do to a pom is shaving the coat.
