Hold up what ladder and catacomb

​@brianmcfall5926 there's a ladder in Shadows keep that leads to a room with a painting, and there's an illusionary wall to the right that leads to a big area, which then can lead to a catacomb, and at the end of the catacomb is a huge area above the jagged peak place on the map. For the ladder, you have to start at the first floor specimen storehouse site of grace, backtrack down the elevator, and head to the left after the fire knight. Stick to the left edge, and there will be a ladder on the edge that will lead down to a waterfall. You'll be on a small almost sidewalk type area by a body of water, and you just follow that until you find another room with a ladder, it will also be to the left. Go down the ladder, and then you'll be in a small room with a painting. Hit the right wall because part of it is illusionary, and then you'll enter into this watery area with a few furnace golems. Just continue down this area and you'll reach some gravestones yoy can jump down. This will eventually lead you to the darklight catacombs, and upon beating the boss at the end you'll find the Abyssal Woods area. Happy hunting

It takes me way longer to find Mohg's shackle in my inventory than it does to "find" the stones 😅

​@@Belzebubke there are a few that are really far from the actual spirit springs. Take the one next to the fire golem rauh ancient ruins east. I bet everything I'm quicker finding the shackle before you get the other part even if you follow a guide that tells you where to go.

Works in dungeons too that have the fire/ice thrower towers for example, it's range is extremely high

Malikeths black blade, if you can weild it, can stun lock him with the skill

Great stars and wild strikes will make easy work of any boss. Dual swords boss renalla I think her name is lasted 15 seconds on 3 fragments and NG++

I juggled him with the crucible horn spell, was hilarious

Black flame tornado and tree sentinel armor really helped. Also +12 scadutree fragments.

Yeah anyone saying mages are better are genuinely crazy. Depending on what the update just did, it COULD either be INT or FTH that's a better stat for builds, but it is so utterly obvious that incantations trump sorceries it's not even funny

@@6zaq ehhh yea you should be fine if you make sure to get the scadu fragments

You can only upgrade to 20. Doesn't matter if you are ng or not. Once you new game, you can collect more and upgrade if you haven't hit 20 yet

Ohh that's good news. That scadutree fragments carry over but you can recollect them if you haven't reached level 20. Cool cool.

This was my exact build going in but i didn't use Lightning Strike on bosses because the damage it deals feels like cheesing lol

It is. It counts as an attack that does 0 damage like rolling into an illusionary wall, so it breaks illusionary walls and spirit spring seals

@@AlexTheQuestionable_36 with that logic why doesn’t rolling break them? Because you are supposed to find the stone

@@braedenculp1379 invisible walls were specifically programmed to deactivate when being rolled into or attacked. Thus why hitting them or jumping into them also works. Pillars can activate when being attacked, thus why jumping or attacking them works. Margie’s shackle probably counts as an attack, because it can’t be used in non combat zones and activates pillars, invisible walls, and spirit spring seals

Because it projects a huge ass hitbox around you that shackles anything in it that counts as margit, but this hitbox also breaks spirit spring seals because it counts as an attack

Not really empty. Whole questline, legacy dungeon/boss (remembrance boss too), 2 visage golems, a dragon, a shit ton of grave/normaly glovewart, and some scadutree fragments

I mean He is wrong, of course your build Matters A LOT. I went Into the dlc on a new playthrough at Level 90 with a faith build and I got absolutely demolished. Later I switched my build to a strength dex build and everything was way easier for me so yeah. The scadutree Fragments Just give you. A damage Buff and DMG reduction Buff No Matter which build you use.
