Thank you on the A line and high waisted items!! I keep telling my friends and boyfriend that it is a necessity for me and my shape and they think I’m covering myself too much. I’ll show it when I want to. All the women in my family have a figure so these tricks were handed down to me. I still have not figured out the shorts yet completely but I will try your suggestions.

She looks proportionate. I'm 5'2 with a shortened mid torso and very wide hips. However, I can agree that low rise jeans is a no go, mid rise works best for me due to my short mid torso.

I have issues with pleats too. On pants they must be partially tacked down and Pleated skirts look like a table cloth.😂 Wide legged pants have been a staple of mine for years... hence why I'm certainly not a fan of bell bottoms. TFS great tips too. ❤

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I hide my hips because people’s eyes go straight to mid section and I’ve became self conscious about it. So I wear long jackets and shirts too and I stay away from pants with pockets on the side. 🥴

I wish i had your body. Why are we so critical of our bodies? To me yours is perfect....i on the other hand am and hourglass with a really short torso so it makes my shoulders look extra wide and theres nothing i can do about it because being perimemopausal in a hot climate i am not about to put on layers of clothes.....the world just gets ME😂🤷🏾‍♀️

We are the same height I've had to get longer blazers and I tuck in most of my shirts or the are long and I am no longer a fan of body con dresses...A line dresses or pant suit for me
