You went to the buddhist temple my husband and I visited last year to honour my sister, who was a Buddhist, who passed away. She was disabled so never managed to go somewhere like that, so it felt like we were taking her with us. We sat and listened to the monks chanting, their voices reverberating through the hills. We left a memento of hers overlooking the place of worship, where the lion/dog shrine was as she loved animals and had an amazing guide dog, who passed away about a year before she did. It felt like she would be able to hear their voices and be at peace. It was one of the most meaningful places I have ever visited and was lovely and peaceful. It is nice to see others visiting there.

Hiroshima has grown a lot in the past four years for tourism. The train station got revamp and even Miyajima had a little overall for tourism its pretty cool to watch the development slowly.

Fukushima disaster might also have helped, there was no way I was gonna visit up North, knowing there's a fully radioactive zone.

If you’re in Hiroshima, you got to check out Hotel Xcell ! It’s in the heart of the entertainment district and has jacuzzis, sauna and lounge on the roof !

Hiroshima was my favourite place I visited in Japan out of Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe. I just loved how peaceful and chilled out the atmosphere was in comparison to the other cities.

Hokkaido would be cool! Maybe some less visited places, never really see many videos on it (apart from that time Chris and Ryotaro became monks for a day) :) Anyway this trip seemed like a lot of fun I have watched both videos, I want to go to Hiroshima now too :D

Hiroshima is STUNNING, just looking down the main strip near the art museum was so green and open! Peace park as well is a sight to not miss, we just got lost walking around that area for hours.

If you do visit as a backpack tourist, make sure to book hotels in advance! I had a hard time finding a place during summer!

e bikes are a life changer. rented one in a mountain village in Austria and I got to see all the pretty regions that I would otherwise be too tired to enjoy. I should really try e biking on my next trip to japan

The landscapes in that area are just so incredible. So many different hills on the mainland, with the city weaving through the, and gorgeous island-hills sprinkled onto the sea. The old-style architecture is beautiful up close, too. I'm new to your channel, by way of Journey Across Japan, and I always love seeing KZfaqrs visit this area. So, yeah, I'm really loving your videos! In fact I just came from the one where Chris challenges world-famous pachinko superstar Natsuki to a face-off, and I love the range in content styles between a video like that one, a video like this one, and the studio videos that feature quizzes or taste tests.

I love sea kayaks. They are so much fun as long as you aren't the one working the pedals. I did not get the hang of steering. Methinks Emma needs a trip way up north. Snowboarding and onsen in Hokkaido?

Tomonoura is a great place and there are many Ponyo locales to check out which similar to the film. A few scenes from The Wolverine were filmed there too. Nice to see a few different places in Hiroshima-ken to the usual ones.

You know how people say "that color/those clothes hurts my eyes"? The salmon/pink background in your studio literally hurts my eyes. Nice change of pace, I enjoyed the video.
