We had ours on the dinette table on days we were not traveling. We have since traded for a 2021 Transcend mk200 because of needing more counter space.

@@OurAmericanTravel It Getting the Transcend was a good decision for us we love it. We hated trading in our RPOD-192 but just needed a little more space. We took the Transcend out West last summer it seems to hold up well.

I think you are a very nice laid back couple. Maybe we will meet up with our 192s one day. I was wondering if when replacing the bathroom faucet is it possible to use a faucet that has one handle instead of 2. Thanks again for your videos and it is nice to meet you.

Great video, thanks! We are going to pick up our 2022 192 in a couple of weeks. You hit on a couple of things that concerned me and that was the lack of a shower surround and poor counter space. Glad to hear that the lack of a shower surround hasn't been an issue for you and like the insert you had showing the Camco counter extension. Will definitely look into that. As for coffee we will probably stick with the coffee bags we've been using for years and years when camping.

We love our 192. We have put about 6000 miles just part time on it this year. I think shower surround is fine but more counter space is definitely needed. We have not tried to Camco shelf yet but there is several other ideas out there in the 192 Facebook group. Thanks so much for watching.

We’ve be looking very seriously at an R-pod 192 and in touring one it looked like the little outdoor prep table they provide for using outside with the grill would work. If we could get a strip of the rail that is used to attach them outside, it looked like there is just enough space above the outlet to attach it. Then it would become dual purpose and could be used both inside and out.

I would have to check that out. It is a great ideal. I'm sure you could get the full rail from Forest River. I have been able to get a couple of parts from them directly. Thanks for watching!

I put coffeepot on table with small cabinet shelf from lowes, this way you had storage under shelf,when traveling I put away in cupboard

We changed out the mattress to the same one you have, we found we had to change out the metal latch for 2 larger latches (1 for each side of the bed). The 1 small latch was pulling out from the wall. We also switched out the bathroom faucet and added a stick on tile backsplash in the kitchen. We are thinking of doing the same in the shower. Love our 192 but more counter space is a draw back. I just purchased a used R-POD 189 and drove it straight to the tire store and replaced the factory installed horrible tires! It made a world of difference to the ride.

Lovely Van 😀we have a flip up counter top in our sprinter to give us more counter space , it’s worth it’s weight in gold 😀👏great video

I don't know if you still have your 192. We had one and enjoyed it very much. To give us more counter space we bot a foldable portable electric piano stand and had 3/4" plywood cut to size. To fit just to the right of the sink when the Murphy bed was closed. When not in use it all folded up pretty nicely

We did trade our RPOD in but we loved it. That is a great solution and we considered many but ultimately we decided right now that we wanted a bigger trailer. Of course if we had not lived in full time for 8 months while waiting for an addition to be built we may have never changed. Thanks for watching

00 I really think no matter how much research we do how many RVs we go through, we always find something we don't like about them. Especially if you're living in it full time you really find you need additional space. Lynn and Danny

There are Always compromises, but knowing the weak links, based on experience is still very helpful. The more your needs are met..the harder it is to pull it over the road.

Thank you for this video. We are currently on our first trip w/ our 192 & needed info on the shower (it is BAD!) so hoping to get that switched out soon. I am using the dinette for coffee pot & blender (use both every day) & it is working so far. I’ll have subscribed & look forward to more of your videos. Oh…& we live in Arkansas; home of sleet one day & 70° weather the next….😂 hope you enjoyed your stay in our great state!

Wow that's cool. I grew up in Pocahontas and went to ASTATE and then the Army was gone for 35 years and moved back 10 years ago to Jonesboro. In deed a small world.

The stock shower head was probably blocked by cuttings and wood shavings if the PDI tech did not remove the aerators and showerhead when he tested the water that would be the cause... Forest river loves sawdust and plastic clippings it one of the worst factories probably sitting in the middle of my 10 shit manufacturers list.

Hello I like to cook on the outdoor cooktop 90% of the time. Thank you for your video . I purchased my camper today and you have me thinking about the counter space. I'm going to get back with you on this! I can picture a unit with some drawers and a fold out top. did you figure something out?

With my camper being Brand new and the videos I have watched I think I'm going to take the pantry door off and rebuild that entire space into something useful and sturdy. I picture a pull out or 2. I do not keep much food at all in the cupboard So I could recreate this pantry into something useful. I hear the shelfs are thin.

Hi guys, we have not yet made our maiden voyage😢 We purchased folding shelf brackets and will create a folding shelf in that space. … for our coffee maker. When not in use we will store in the pantry. I will have to figure something out for that shower curtain too. One thing I am also very curious about is the window behind the bed.. any issues when laying down?

I would like to know how the trailer rides when you're traveling. What do you think of the suspension on the rPOD?

I always thought the suspension was great. The ride was good. We drove it over 5000 miles in the first year and had very few problems. We had a few screws back inside the trailer and the microwave lost a screw but all in all we loved it.

It’s called a c-shape couch table. You can find them on Amazon. The only draw back is they are typically only 24” tall. Maybe okay for a coffee maker

Castle Rocks are great we have a dual axle trailer and have 15000 miles on them with no issues. Their is no proof that Goodyear perform any better than any other RV tires. Don’t waste your money on Goodyear’s.

Well we had ours over 5k with no issues but there is certainly many who have had problems. Probably because of under inflation or over capacity?

@@OurAmericanTravel Goodyear is living off past reputation and is now considered a low end tire worldwide compared to top European and Asian brand tires that are much more durable and reliable at a much better price point.
