I noticed that at 3-Nil up at 60 minutes, subs weren't made until almost the 70th minute. For ESR's 20 minutes, he had more touches and influence in the game than Havertz in 70 minutes. I hope Arteta notices the difference in the team when ESR plays versus Havertz and Vieira. Maybe Martinelli should come off the bench. Trossard is steady while Martinelli gives high energy. The best thing that came from the Crystal Palace game was some proper, clinical finishing. Gabriel with the early header, Trossard keeping composure to smash it into the back of the net, and Martinelli perfectly passing the ball into the goal twice. It's something we haven't seen for a while, and it shows that the Dubai break has worked. The boys are getting their confidence and their clinical edge back. If we perform similarly against Forest, we will set ourselves up perfectly to go for a decisive win against Liverpool. And on top of that, it looks like Partey will be fit for the Liverpool game too, which will give us a massive boost as we all know how badly we've been lacking his presence in midfield.

Martinelli is a super sub at best. He always steps up when coming off late. He has upper hand when there are tired legs in the opposition box.

We scored 2 goals from corners and then Palace had to attack which left them exposed at the back. If we hadn't scored from a corner it would have been another difficult game.

I hope Rice's injury isn't major coz should we have Partey back by Feb and we get Rice, Partey and Ordegaard in the midfield then we shall have our fluid and creative midfield of last season back, We need a deep lying creative midfielder to partner Rice and Partey is tried and tested in that role, if we manage to get the three playing together in our midfield we shall slap teams as we match towards our first premier league title in over two decades.

Arsenal need to keep improving the speed of attack so as to give the opponent defenders less time to recover in closing down our attackers and organize their defensive shape and not make it difficult for ourselves to find that space to score later on. I feel like Eze for palace, my team only has 1 point and there’s 3 games left to the season. We lost 8-0 yesterday. My team’s average was 3/10 while I had 8/10. Was on the bench 5-10 minutes at the end of the game and we allowed 5 goals. My dad calculated the xG with another dad and my xG was 2.1 and my xA was 4.6 so we can see the problem and it ain’t me for sure

For instance, if our front five in attack are Havertz, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saka and Gabriel Jesus with Saka and Martinelli in their rigid traditional right and left inverted wings, he should switch their positions from formation A to formation B or C or D below to see how the gameplay would change.
