I've had mine 10 years, had 200,000 when i got it. About 2 weeks after i bought it the speedometer cable broke so no odometer, but i know this truck has over 300,000 miles on it now. Bought as a work truck and use it daily, oil changes, tires and 2 batteries is all I've done to it. The reliability of this truck borders on the supernatural. It will not stop running!, and still runs really good, V6 Great power. Im gonna drive it till it just dies.

My first ever vehicle was a ‘97 d21, I loved that truck so much. Very easy to maintain, oil changes were easy. Only problems I’ve had with it was that the interior ceiling cover was ripped, floor was stained to all high hell and there was some rust on the body. Got hit many of times and only small dents, all until a college lady on her phone rear ended me hard enough to bend the frame a few inches in city streets. Being a 17 year old ( at the time) Hispanic dude the insurance almost immediately said it was my fault until a dispensary sent their security footage and disputed it. Now I drive a damn 2010 Chevy impala, which I love because miles aren’t an issue ( known for 220+ k and still being decent, mine has 234,79? Miles and still kinda running). It also has air conditioning, but I fish a lot so the bed of the d21 was nice. I miss my D21 a ton, I’ve already promised myself I will try to not ever buy a car because me and curbs don’t have a good relationship, almost lost my impalas bumper at least 20 times. Y’all don’t text and drive, it can ruin lives and cause a lot of heartbreak for a kid. I shed a few tears when insurance totaled it, wasn’t surprised but still, it was my first vehicle which I paid back my dad for and I had a lot of memories in that thing.

Running my '92 SE Extended Cab 4x4 V6 with 3" Calmini suspension lift, 3" body lift, 33x12.50's, Warn hub locks, ARB rear air locker, ARB winch bumper w/10klb Smittybuilt winch, Thorley headers, Mastercraft off-road bucket seats, Softtopper and Rhinoliner paint job. Custom plate protection underneath and a few more goodies. It's a beast off-road and has left a few Toyotas behind. It's got 200,000 miles on it and runs like a sewing machine. They can bury me in this truck.

Hello, well that was very informative,,in on my " 5th " nissan truck, wrll really my 4th, my first truck "import ".was a 1979 DATSUN 4x2 2.0L 5 speed longbed.then a 93 nissan kingcab 4x2 2.4L 5 spd..then a 97 nissan kingcab 4x2 2.4L 5spd, the last of the hardbodys then a 9 year pause.then my first frontier,a 07 kingcab 4x2 2.5L 5spd " auto XL "( wow ) what a difference it was to the previous generation. now im on my latest one. an 17 kingcab 4x2 2.5L 5spd auto,. just really like theses trucks, Alot of people dont like them or just flat out hate them, well for me i got a work truck.it looks good, it's not a show by any means.i got a truck to hual/ tow and not have ro change clothes just to climb inside.a lot of these videos i find on tube. are rants of it was there biggest mistake ever..well in 93-97 if you lived in seattle and got passed by a white nissan king cab w factory blue graphics that was me..97-2003 still in Seattle and you got passed by a red/ copper."autumn sunburst "king cab it was me..2010 my if your in skagit county and an o7 frontier passed you yep it was me.and still to day in my 17 frontier with over 82.000 i all stock.no tune/ chip/factory exhaust, play with hond. & sube's..hondas are fun,, but you have to pace the sube's be for thay take me seriously, not for cash. or silps just out for fun.rember its a compact truck for peet sake.an. "auto " 0--60 snappy.60 -100 so so 100-110 120,5th its to big.parts are cheep, pretty low. "maintenance " when your 2.5L seas a lot of time 100 & up you go through oil/ belts & pulleys & tenchners. thanks for the info

Check out the easy stuff first. Ka24e? Plugs, wires, cap and rotor, Fuel filter Only have a bad idle when engine is hot? Unplug maf when it's running.. Did it get better????? Your maf needs to be cleaned possibly replaced. What about it not doing anything!!!!!!! Check EGR valve for grime.... It's probably just best to pull it off and clean the thing for good measure. Also vacuum lines for leaks are a common occurrence. PS I've also seen the ka24e overfilled with oil make it idle ruff. Check that fluid level, run 5w30 or 10w30 synthetic. The hydraulic lifters will thank you. That's a good starting point best of luck.
