Theo Pourchaire is actually better than Piastri in every way except for Racecraft. And he's 200k cheaper. Underrated shout

I was actually playing around with AI difficulty levels and it doesn't matter what level you play at, they are all suicidal maniacs that dive bomb corners or swipe your backend while on the straights. That being said, it's the best f1 game I've played in recent years and I get them as soon as they come out

You know... i usually focus first in durability and save as much rd points for season 2. Makes it harder at first, but once you are in the groove of upgrades in s2, you catch up fairly quickly to the midfield

Damn I do the exact opposite, powertrain and aero upgrades like crazy and then save up for durability upgrades for S2 onwards! Codies do need to clear up the issues in the game though…

I actually big brain it . In my interview at the start , I answer all the questions related to the durability department. So when I went in , I had level 2 department and like 6 upgrades from the start. Then I just got for all the others for the rest of the season

Make sure you’re upgrading your personal driver, you can spend money on yourself so that engine wear is reduced. Goes up to like a 30% reduction I think.

Also consider not participating in some practices or just retire from the session early. All those free practice sessions add a ton of wear to the engine.

How do you change difficulty on the fly? It's greyed out for me saying it's locked.

If you’re in between sessions you can change it. If you’ve already started a free practice, qualifying or a race then its locked.

I got a question about F1 22 career mode if anyone can help please. If you switch teams in standard driver career mode, do you take with you and accumulated, unused resources points? Or you start again from zero with the new team you move to? I've got this frustrating situation with driver career with Williams where my R&D is locked, can't do any more upgrades until facilities upgrade, which I can't control in standard career, so I'm just sat there accumulating resources points (like nearly 10K of them now), with no way to use them. If it carries on will switch teams, but only if I can use them in the new team and don't reset to zero.

Do u know why no safety cars are ever deployed and the ai’s don’t make contact or cause safety cars I.e crash? It takes away form the experience

Up the AI difficulty and increase safety car likelihood, you get some huge crashes especially at Baku

There is a setting to increase likelihood for safety cars, meaning it'll be higher chance for it be deployed if an incident occurs

Depends on your length of practice sessions I believe Edit mine is set to 30 mins and I get quick practice sessions all the time I mainly use them for tyre temps and on some tracks for keeping within 2m of racing line

Same bro I’m usually on 90 and I just got the game yesterday put the difficulty on 90 and won the Bahrain gp 1.2 minutes ahead of second place Hamilton lolll

If you use the midfield challenger or champion mode you can start with better drivers

@@SweatyyPancakes ye I’m just kidding. Didn’t mean it in a bad way was just funny and would piss me off if I start the career with one of the more expensive drivers. If I were you I’d sack him or give him a pay cut XD
