I'm trying to get my music going so I say right now I have KZfaq, Facebook (but it's personal so prefer not to use that one) and Instagram. Should I make a Facebook just for music too?

I’m sorry for out of topic. I’ve lookn on your clip on youtube was monetized by tunecore. Does distrokid yearly fee not including the monetized on youtube? Or can you explain about it? Thx JM

Unfortunately that is a separate service with DistroKid and their yearly fee doesn't cover it. They make that pretty clear when you get to that section on the upload screen. If you saw my Distributing with DistroKid video I mentioned that and explained it a little bit more in detail! :)

I totally understand but actually you don't need to speak English to use Tik Tok! There are communities for every language, ethnicity, race, etc. It takes a little bit to get used to and find your way around but you'll get there. :)

PRO or distributor first? Does the order matter?

PRO first! You want to make sure you’re set up with them so that they can start collecting your royalties as soon as your music is released! :) PS: The video answering your question a while back about K-Pop will be up later today. I’m having internet troubles right now otherwise it would already be up. 😅 So look for that later today, I really hope it helps!

Of course! It’s 20 minutes long because it’s a subject that’s really personal to me but I did my best to also provide a spherical and analytical look at K-Pop too. :) Truthfully it doesn’t matter TOO MUCH but I would caution against actually releasing something without a PRO set up. They protect you legally and collect royalties that distributors don’t collect without a special publishing deal. So in my professional opinion -get set up with a PRO first (my rec is ASCAP but BMI is also amazing here in the states.)
