6th rule: Just keep painting stuff you like and practice over and over again...dont stop...when you look back over a year you will see the progress!! Just have fun!!!

Regardless of this video, everyone has to go through a beginner's "horror" in the most difficult medium for watercolor painting, I wouldn't really separate colors; these are the best, these are a little worse, etc., should be combined sometimes, in my opinion that each color behaves a little differently, I combine Rembrandt, Schmincke and Van Gogh, basically watercolor is a stylistic medium, there are so many "snags" that a painter literally learns something even after 10 years, in watercolor everything has to be ultra professional if a painter wants to become master, Arches is probably the best although there are other manufacturers who are equally high-quality, only mold paper, 100% cotton is not a guarantee of quality, commercial Fabriano Artistico 300gr does not tolerate water like Fabriano handmade from mold, Hahnemuhle Cezanne is top quality paper , Saunders Waterford, Baohong (only from the mold) .., whatever it is, I always wet the back of the paper well so I don't have to stretch it and I can work with a lot of water r don't blame and bend, the problem is that no one can help you except yourself, because someone else's help means copying, working in the style of a master, out of 40 techniques you need to find in one. Some great masters are nearing the end of their careers, only Djukarić remains, who in my opinion raised watercolor to the highest level and also works the hardest technique that requires a lot of water, unlike Temerevo who works dry watercolor and Alvaro who has nothing more to offer, Žbukvić may remain a few more years and that's it, at the moment I don't see anyone who can inherit the big three, Chen's technique is not tempting to me due to excessive use of white (literally mixes every color with titanium white) and considering that Djukarić is 20 and a fraction years younger from Alvaro and Žbukvić and his rapid progress, I think he is already the world's leading watercolorist and his paintings are among the 5 most sought after (although they are very expensive, he is one of the most expensive watercolorists), rigid realism, hyperrealism in watercolor and I do not count ) because it is a mere copy of what the painter wants to paint
