Can you please show us the drills you did at the beginning to gain confidence

I am a noob quad skater since October ''21... Tip 6: "Learn the Scissor / Stagger Stance"... When your are new, we have the tendency to want to stand with our feet parallel, however, there is little stability (imagine standing with both heels together on a skateboard). To correct this, learn the "scissor stance" where the tip of one foot is in line with the heel of the other. Tip 0: "Keep your knees bent" - straight knees are the enemy of the new skater, and yes, you don't have those muscles yet if you are new. Tip 7: "Make sure your trucks are loose enough to steer for your weight". If the trucks are too tight, you'll never learn to steer by leaning, and crossovers will be impossible... Tip 8: "Off skate practice" - one foot balancing, stretching, flexibility, etc. Tip 9: "Keep your head up, look for the horizon".. I see a lot of folks staring down at their feet; That's not going to work.. look up to the horizon for balance. Tip10: Pad up if you are a noob, or learn on a wood rink, or both... you are going to fall. Tip 11: "If you haven't fallen in a while, you may be plateauing in your skills"... It's easy to learn to skate forwards to a level of mastery, but then those same folks can't skate backwards... Make sure to continue to push your limits. Tip12: Consider abandoning the toe stops from the very beginning... esp if you want to hockey or inline skate, as having toe stops will build some bad habits for crossover skaters.
