I may have forgotten the definiton of compassinate or something but isn't the definition to show sympathy towards someone and how is joining a football club, part time job and work experience showing compassion?

What I was more saying is that you need to draw these experiences out and develop those points - how did you demonstrate those qualities while you were doing those things? That's the type of reflection you need to do when writing the personal statement - the experience itself isn't really important, it's what you learned and what characteristics/skills you used

Hello I got my bachelor degree from a foreign country and i am going to study master of neuroscience in uk,i want to know can i study medicine in uk after graduate from neuroscience?

I'm a graduate applying for medical school this year. The problem I am having with my personal statement is I have a lot of this things I could write about but I'm not sure how to narrow it down. I did apply during sixth form and completed quite a bit of work experience and voluntary work then but this was a few years ago and I am not sure how relevant it will be. I have been working as an Optometrist so there's quite a bit I could talk about there but I concerned that my application will be received less favourably as I don't have any recent examples of voluntary activity?

i think unis prefer you to use recent experience within last 3 years, most unis do anyways. I would recommend to use your optometry work exp and talk about that and what you have learnt from that
