Thanks for the tips I been cutting my hair for 5 years & quick line up's to family & considering barber school only thing holding me up is your #1 tip the love for it lol I cut my hair every week I hate starting but once I do it's a zone just not sure if that zone will happen with clients my son is in high school now so I can't practice on him anymore but thanks for the reality check

I'm a female that is shadowing a barber and too tell u the truth, I feel like I'm watching surgery, it's so many technical things like which guard to use, when to move the lever up and down, when to use the trimmers, how to use the trimmers, all I can say is lord please help me become successful in barbering in my craft

remember this.... it helps ... no matter with a guard or without, you will almost always use fully open, halfway open, and fully closed... you will learn what guards you can skip like u don't have to go from lets say a 5 to 4 to 3... , you can go from 5 to 3 to 1 1/2 etc with the right hair and wrist work.. etc, my advice is the same as Erving's MASTER YOUR CLIPPERS (use friends or fam to practice on) peace

Of course you're going to plug stylecraft meanwhile.. new Barbers it's better to learn on seniors or something like that the fusion isn't forgiving or any fade blade..💡 and razors definitely not an enhancement..it's a staple every new Barber should use and can with every client...

A razor has been a staple since barbering has been.. it should be top-notch in every Barbers arsenal. If you're a real Barber and you use a razor on hairline and neck I'm an old school barber 20 years in what can I say..👍🏼 let's agree to disagree. Some gems though

@@joeyDi8764 Yes I do agree with what you’re saying but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t enhance a lineup and beard lineup. Not that itsa bad thing to call it a enhancement.
