Sir, I did FUT .. result is ok but not the best ....but the only problem is my skin of the back head is still very hard after the 01 year ...could you pls advice me how long it takes to be completely normal ?

I’m confused if the grafts are locked in your head after day 10. Why do you have to avoid straining your scalp? What can be the harm?
@GetLocklab Жыл бұрын
It's not about the grafts. It's about letting your scalp finish healing so you don't get larger scars.

Hey! I sent you a message on Instagram. I’m losing my hair and if there’s any way I could become a trial subject for the exosomes, that would be amazing! I’m so down for that.

I had a fue surgery from Dr. Barusco in Florida...1700 grafts...And 10000 dollars later I had about a 10% fue result...A more experienced fue surgeon told me 90% of the hairs that were implanted were already bad...

I'm so sorry to hear that. Unfortunately it's a common story. Dr. McGrath and I make these videos to try and keep patients from having that experience. Dr. McGrath turns away more than half of the patients who request him to do surgery on them because many are not, or not yet good candidates for a hair transplant.

It's ok David because I luckily found a great surgeon in Atlanta GA who has pretty much gave me a full head of hair...Dr. John Cole definitely changed my life

Hi David, Do you know if Dr. McGrath had ever tried PRP+Acell on himself? If he did, I'm curious to know what has been his level of responsiveness compared to exosomes. Thanks! I really like these videos!!

Hi Mike, I don't think he ever did PRP + Acell on himself. I'm guessing he would have mentioned it in all the discussions we've had about hair together if he had, but I'm not 100% sure because I've never directly asked him. I will next time I see him :)

I'm a Norwood 6. Can you operate on someone like me looking to achieve reasobale density with full coverage? Is that realistic or should I just avoid surgery all together? I have see Drs like Dr Umar performing great work on patients with my level of hair loss using FUE nad body hair. So I believe it's possible to reapir extensive balding. What's your thoughts?
@ThatOtherTom4 жыл бұрын
I would go get a consultation from a doctor who does FUE and FUT. I would not rule out FUT off the bat. FUT can be great for large transplants, and at Norwood 6, if you have a strong enough donor area it could still take several surgeries to achieve a Norwood 2 or so. I don’t know if it’s really realistic to go from Norwood 6 to Norwood 1 with considerable density, especially in one surgery. You have a finite amount of donor hairs (varies from person to person) so at Norwood 6 it would always be a tradeoff between coverage and density. If you want fuller coverage, you will have less density. Personally, I would never get my body hair implanted in my scalp, but I guess that’s a personal preference thing. Ultimately, a hair transplant surgeon would need to examine your scalp in person to help determine what the options are. A lot depends on your donor area.

Great honest response....if you’re gonna lose more hair you’re gonna lose more hair. I’ve done minoxidil...laser....prp....shampoos for years....& now finasteride for a couple months. I’m doing all those right now & losing hair like it’s nothing. I don’t understand, I don’t even know if they’re making a dent in the hair loss. Maybe I’m just shedding bad bc of starting finasteride a couple months ago? Doubt it, I must’ve lost 50 hairs in the sink a couple days ago. I’m at a loss.

Hunter2847 it’s normal to lose that amount of hair bro your supposed to lose at least a 150 hairs a day so don’t worry to much
@DavidDiMuzio4 жыл бұрын
@@najiibrahim4069 You're right. I lose lots of hair all the time.
@DavidDiMuzio4 жыл бұрын
Losing 50 hairs in the sink is totally normal. That's nothing to be concerned about. Hair falling out is fine. It's natural. It's hair miniaturizing that you need to be worried about.
@Hunter28474 жыл бұрын
Well I understand that but they’re not coming back lol....I’ve been doing this for years & I’ve lost a lot of hair in the past 3 years. The doc says they shed to come back stronger or start a new cycle & that you don’t go bald by them just falling out like that, that’s not how balding works but with me I feel like it is sometimes lol bc I know for a fact some have fell out that just haven’t came back or if they did they were microscopic, I try not to lose hope & maybe finasteride will be the trick with time
@Hunter28474 жыл бұрын
David DiMuzio and about miniaturizing....I have notice a lot of hair that came out that just look really small & weak bc other would be longer & thicker so yes that’s occurring as well. There’s definitely little weak hairs I see all the time
