Pace and Power, with heavier defence attributes , something different to Porro but an upgrade on Emerson ,especially with press resistance and passing ? I know was some issues with Djed Spence at Leeds ,but hope Ange takes another look ? Priorites for more firepower up front line, the generally costs more , if Ederson is brought in No.6 going to be some more moves required than Hojbjerg in that position ?

I’d be tempted to go for Archie Gray from Leeds. Has played both right back and central midfield this season so would be suited to an inverted strategy. Also as he is young he’d be easier as a second to Porro alderman helps home grown quota

Tough this one, unlike the left side options where someone could come in and play LCB/LB and get a fair chunk of minutes next season, this would be a pure RB fighting Porro for position. Don’t think we can afford to speak excess amounts of money on this position… Rensch seems like a good option

If we get a rb/cb hybrid then we’d have to get a natural lb. I think this might be the move given the lack of players that can play both lb and cb. Furthermore udogie has proven to be more prone to injury than porro and having a natural replacement to come in and lighten the load would be good

I think you guys should banish the word "backup" from these scouting shows. Every single player that we're looking at needs to be considered as a first team alternative, not a "backup". That's the only way we're going to bridge the gap.

If you want to replace Emerson for simakan then you’re completely clueless. Completely. Simakan and Emerson are the exact same profile except simakan is 6’2 instead of 6ft. Why do you want a CB at RB, let’s get a real RB. Otherwise you’re going to get the exact kind of slow for a fullback, defensive, safe passing, boring, uncreative RB in simakan just like Emerson. You think Emerson can’t invert holy fuck imagine thinking Simakan can. Simakan isn’t playing RB because he’s so great offensively or good on the ball, he’s been playing there because Leipzig are so offensive and he’s so good defensively and serviceable at RB that they use him there to balance the team.
