5 Trello Views You Need to Know! (Full Tutorial)

Want to view your Trello boards in different ways? Trello now has 5 new views including a map, timeline, calendar, dashboard, and team table option. In this video, Scott Friesen shows you how to access and use each of these views so you can get more out of your Trello boards.

With me it just says Dates in the menu, guess it's changed since this video was released. The Trello calendar doesn't quit understand what date it is today so I hope Trello fixes this. Love these different views. Great demonstration and walk trough. I appreciate it!

What’s the explanation behind why we can’t drag and drop cards with our finger when using the web version of Trello but we can do it when using board view in the web version of Todoist and we can also do it when using board view in the web version of Walling?

I'm not aware of being able to do this by list. But you can certainly do this in combination of the filter option (i.e. by label).

Do I need to do something to force an update? I have the gold plan and on my computer I do not see the drop down feature in boards?

Not available to Gold members ... only business members. I've lamented about this on several forums. I've supported Trello for years with a Gold subscription (it's more than I even need). While these boards would be very useful, I'm just not willing to triple the amount I pay for a few new views. Might just end my Gold when it expires too.

Hey Scott, How are you? I hope you and your family are doing well. This is not a Trello question. I am a DJ and I was wondering if there is an app for creating timelines for parties/events. Like a birthday/graduation party or a wedding? Or would it be best to create one in Docs or Sheets? Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Thanks, Charlie. You should see this dropdown in the top left corner of every board which is within a Business Class account.

It looks like you can't use these features on the Free version of Trello.

That is correct, Monica. These views are only available on Business Class.

The main problem with Trello is how to get a total view across all your boards. Has this ben achieved or not? (can't find a clear answer anywhere WTF?)

With Workspace tables view, you can view all of your boards in one place. In addition, the new Dashcards powerup can also allow you to bring in data from all or some of your boards.
