When I first heard about "The Nutty Putty cave incident" was a few years back and all I could think is I would have done the same thing as the stuck guy probably. I do it all the time on fallout 3, fallout N.V, and fallout 4. I go into some area and go just a bit too far one way or another and I am hopelessly stuck. Thank goodness its only a game and I can reload. I feel for that kids last moments. 😞😯😔😕

That nutty putty cave story made me hyperventilate. I've heard the story of the man that died there and that scared me. I leave spelunking to the brave of heart, just too scary.

Mammoth Cave has all kinds of stories. In the late 1800's or early 1900's, a guy was trying to make a new entrance into the cave when the tunnel he was working on fell in on him. He was trapped under a large rock, but he was still alive. His family and friends found him after several hours and rescue efforts ensued, but no one could get him out. He stayed alive for a few weeks before finally passing away. It took his family months to finally get his body out. It's said he still haunts the area.

For number 2, I remember hearing about the dude that got stuck upside down in that cave. He was a medical student that was only like 26 at the time of his death and already had a 13 month old daughter with another baby on the way. I think his name was John jones or something, the whole situation was just depressing. Couldn't even imagine how it would feel to be stuck upside down, not being able to move at all for 28 hours while you slowly died. Definitely one of my worst fears. I'm not extremely claustrophobic or anything but if I were to get completely stuck in a small space unable to move a muscle, I would be freaking the fuck out.

Just being lost in a cave with nowhere to hide and run is already a horror story

The second story is too developed. Imo, it could have been written much more effectively. I had to stop listening half way through.

These stories kicked my claustrophobia into high gear. I caught myself cringing and breathing as if, I myself were trapped. Love it 💙

I found a cave once. It is impossible to get to now cause the road that you drove on to get to it has crumbled and tumbled down a cliff. It was very surreal to enter it. It seemed to go on forever, but we didn't have the courage to journey very far.
