Really enjoyed your creative tips. Regarding the halftone effect, after following your steps faithfully, I keep on getting a white box around the text and cannot change the colour of the text either? The problem could be I am using CS5 Illustrator?

Hi there, is there anyway to remove/change color of the white background generated behind the pixelated text (the last tutorial). Even when I place a colored rectangle behind it, the text has it;s own white box

I tried using pathfinder effect 'minus back' and it only effect on the last letter of the word, it mask the whole word into the shape of the last letter only, So I can't following through your tutorial no 3 (text highlight), please tell me what to do to solve this problem?
