Another great almost hidden addition to V2 is the ability to right click on a layer thumbnail in the layers panel to hide and/or show all other layers. Finally a true working "solo" mode.

One more tip i saw on KZfaq that i wanted to share.. Which is in the layer panel you can turn on/off the thumbnail view of a group..by default in v2..group appears as a plain folder...if you want to see its thumbnail view..click the hamburger menu in the layer panel..and turn on see group thumbnail..

Mark when i press the arrow key all ity does is move the object with the settings in the nudge distance

I tried your duplicate. Can't get distributing shapes with more space to work. I have that holding adds space. What am I missing?

Just found out that v2.0 is only recommended for Mac OS 10.15 (Catalina) and later. I'm using an older iMac running on 10.12.6 (Sierra) and cannot upgrade beyond that. Version 1.10.6 has run flawlessly, but now I'm afraid that I cannot upgrade my Affinity software to 2.0. I cannot afford to buy a new Mac just to be able to run v2.0. Thought I was going to be able to use Affinity as my go-to design software, but I now find that I'm being left behind.

While drawing a shape or text press arrow to add a duplicate if you press and hold arrow you will add spacing between copies affinity.help/designer2/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/ObjectControl/objectGrids.html?title=Quick%20Grids
