I start to challenge myself to play songs first in key of C, then key of G etc. and to memorize progression while thinking about circle of fifth. And then, to play it with my eyes closed. The last one help me to sing in pitch too.

Getting uncomfortable is a good point. I find its easy to stay where you are rather than challenge yourself to move forward. Thanks 😊

Thank you so much, im pleased to hear you enjoyed the video! I think it’s such an important topic, people can so easily hold themselves back without realising. Just a couple of wee changes can make a huge difference

Of all your tips that helps me best right now is to get uncomfortable. I don't have a ukulele group anywhere near me so I joined an online one. And you know what? Just jumping in and trying to keep up taught me that I can do chord changes much faster than I thought. Also, I'd keep writing down names of chords I didn't know yet and memorising them.

this is so nice to hear, I am glad you have managed to find a group online and that it made you realise how well you are doing! I think playing with others in any capacity can be so rewarding and beneficial nd you can earn so much
