My church gave me a premium starter kit as well as all of the cleaners, soaps, even toothpaste and mouthwash for Mother's Day. I woke up with horrid allergies. I will try this blend today!

Papoosetuck Make sure its only organic oils! You do not want to put toxins on your skin or breathing toxins. Other than the obvious reasons on why toxins are so bad, they also lessen the oils’ potency. So ALWAYS make sure you use ONLY USDA Organic.

Great vid! Just getting into the oils. I have bad allergies and I hope these application suggestions will help. Need to know the other tricks like how much cutting or diluting I need to do as some oils can be pretty potent

Great video! I put three drops of each into a gel cap and take it with water every morning. The peppermint gives a nice cool feeling. My friend recommended this and now all of us do it. It's amazing! No more allergy meds.

nolita505 Thank you! Eden's Garden oils really are fantastic! I'd pay more for quality if I had to, but luckily I don't, haha! I've tried more expensive oils, and EG performs just as well. And yes, the stainless steel rollerball feels really nice! It's nice and cool!

I am so glad to find your page. My son was on Singular and I later found out it can contribute to depression. Well he was struggling with this so I have taken him off completely. One of my customers suggested Essential Oils. I am getting a diffuser this weekend and going to use the oils you suggested. You have won me over and I look forward to more vids. Take care!

Momma Allie I try to be authentic as possible, and I know MLMs can come across a little market-y. I actually started a program that I love that is completely unrelated to oils that is part of a network marketing group, but I'm hesitant to share it on here for that reason. I know some KZfaqrs can come across in-genuine when it comes to stuff like MLMs, but I also know some people have really seen their lives changed from them. I think some people handle sharing it online better than others, but I totally get what you're saying. If I ever share anything, regardless of where it's coming from, it's only because I love it and want to share it with people who I think might also love it. :-)

Momma Allie ME TOO! Its why I can’t stand Young Living and Doterra oils. Plus, they are soooo expensive, plus they are not organic. They claim to be “high therapeutic” oils, but if you research that, it really means nothing, just a marketing scheme! They just want you to “join” so they can make more money!! Uugghh!

@@cmvr9138 PLEEEZE do your research! The reason why you pay more for YL essential oils is because of the high uncompromising standards they hold that go way above industry standards. ie Hand Weeding, land that has not had pesticides used on it in 100 yrs, crops that are not harvested until peak therapeutic values are found in the plants, Distillation Temperature and "cooking" time optimal to glean the highest therapeutic constituents, triple test EACH Batch in TRIPLICATE, ETC . For YL to be labeled "organic" would mean the company lowering their standards as USDA Organic requirements are less than what YL does in their SEED to SEAL commitment. PLEASE before making such assumptions really do your homework. You can visit ANY YL farm and see their sourcing, science & standards of operation. Be well.

I LOVE Edens Garden oils! They are my go-to for most all of my oils! Great company, high quality at a great price! I have spent a small fortune though, ha! But they are definitely worth the investment. One of the best things I've ever done....getting into essential oils!

YES! GREAT CHOICES! These are definitely the oils I use during this season change ;). They are great. I usually diffuse them, steam sometimes and use them in a personal essential inhaler (like your breathe jar). What I also have tried this year is giving myself a lymphatic face massage when symptoms flare up... so far so good. If you search "Dr. Mark Lynch sinus drainage massage" you will find the massage a I give myself when I need it. ☆Please note: peppermint is not considered safe for kids for certain ages and people with certain medical issues :-)

I guess anything is possible, but I believe with the heat you can reduce/ruin the therapeutic effects of the oils. So I would recommend diffuser methods without heat =). Hope this helps!

You should join the facebook group "Safe Use of Edens Garden Essential Oils"! It has helped me learn so much about safety and dilution rate. If you don't mind a pointer, you are using way too many drops in your roller ball bottle. For a roller ball bottle you want about a 5% dilution rate, which equates to 10 drops of essential oils TOTAL. I would go for around 3 drops of each oil!

I was misinformed about dilution rates at one point, but I've learned a lot over the past couple years, especially through the Using Essential Oils Safely website. I'm always open to people sharing tips, as the more I've become informed the more I'm an advocate for safe essential oil use.

+S&J Reinke Peppermint can potentially cause a decrease in milk supply if you plan to breastfeed, but I use it as needed without issue. :) It's not on the "avoid during pregnancy" list that I trust.

Great question! How many ml? That sounds like a lot. At 5ml, that would be a 45% dilution rate. And at 10ml, that would be a 22.5% dilution rate. Both would be over my recommendations. Personally I would shoot for a 2% topical dilution, but inhale (undiluted eos).

+Kate Krauss From my research, it's best not to put oils in a traditional humidifier/vaporizer because they can degrade the plastic. You can get essential oil diffusers on Amazon in the $20 range. :)

+Karen Amstutz They are definitely pure and therapeutic grade, but CPTG is actually just a made up term by a different company. There's no standard for that. :)

+Micah Martinez Based on the research I've done, I'm comfortable using them, but I try not to use any oil on a daily basis while pregnant. If you plan to breastfeed, peppermint is said to negatively affect milk supply, so just be cautious of that. I occasionally used peppermint while breastfeeding and never had any issues. Just dilute well and use on an as-needed basis.

CAFBethy You could try subbing chamomile EO in place of lavender. I've never tried that myself, but it's anti-inflammatory and soothing as well. You may also just try eliminating the lavender altogether and adding a little extra of the other two oils.
