Ha ha loved you trying to say nduja 😅 I think I was looking at your new hob and wondering how clean it was going to stay more than watching the food. I tried gnocchi last week for the first time but it was filled with pesto and though I love pesto it was way too much. Maybe try plain gnocchi next time. That potato topping on the cottage pie looked lovely. And salmon and broccoli mmmmm

I love gnocchi it’s like chewy dumplings 😍 feta is nice with gnocchi too. The salsa needs coriander

Have u tried the Knorr Liquid seasoning Kerry? Highly reccomend them u can get veg, liquid smoke and the 🍄 and miso one which is amazing....gives such a depth of flavour to almost anything. I highly reccomend all of them theyy give a kind of umami flavour. The bottles look small but u really only need a few small squeezes....yum

@@louisedoyle4757 just search Knorr Liquid Seasoning. I've seen them in pound world also a few times. Another thing I reccomend if u like 🍄 flavour is dried porcini mushrooms soak in hot water for 15 mins or so the liquid is amazing very savoury gives a real deep flavouring i use it in soups, and risottos or stroganoff. I also use it when making vegan gravy as there's a few vegans in the family who arrive for lunch an odd time. I stated off 🥕🧅 celery finely diced, then add the liquid off the soaked 🍄 some soy sauce and marmite and a bit of veggie stock plus few tblsp flour to thicken it then I let it simner for about 10 mins and strain

Also! If you like fresh cilantro, that would have been a fabulous addition to the top of your fajitas -- sooo delicious! (it's also great in salsa)

Hi Kerry.. Love these ideas.. I pronounce it N-do-ya.. The do like Scooby Doo 😂.. No idea 🤷‍♀️ but sounds good and also very tasty 😋.. I’ve bought an instant pot in the Black Friday sale, so some new IP recipes would be great if you have been experimenting ☺️ Lxxx

I fry my gnocchi rather than boiling it, makes it taste much less stodgy, somehow. I also like it baked in a sauce rather than just mixed in (although that’s certainly going to be quicker). As ever, good ideas for simple, tasty, family meals there.

These are interesting, yes quick and simple but somewhat lacking in nutritional balance without the addition of some portions of veg, plus lots of white foods, which again, lack in lots of nutritional benefits. For those looking for more balanced plates, with more balanced nutritional value, swap white for wholewheat, swap red meat for pulses or beans, switch up too many white potatoes for sweet potatoes, butternut squash or carrot. The saying 'eat a rainbow' is literally what our bodies need to stay healthy and functional. I think these are really appealing 'comfort' foods but I'd like to see more portions of veg and alternatives to pasta and potatoes. 3 types of pasta dishes a week, plus 2 red meat meals and lamb which is also high in fat. Thumbs up for the salmon- an excellent source of goodness and the broccoli too! But perhaps lots of 'cream/dairy heavy' ingredients too. Sorry to be a bore! There is a huge lack of education around nutrition and I'm not talking about weight loss benefits, I'm talking, body functions, processes, healing, immunity, growth and repair, strength, development.
