2023 was Yumna & Wahaj's year. Together they created something so organic and raw that I' am still unable to watch any other show because I end up comparing it to them and the feel they gave. They raised the bar so damn high that I am not satisfied with the previous stuff and couples I watched and hyped. To not give them the top rank is insane. They had the whole internet going crazy after their chemistry.

I don't feel, Yumhaj's onscreen chemistry can be compared with anyone except Fawad-Mahira in PTV. They have literally set the screen on fire... the gaze, the eye locks, those entwined hands and their husky voice. Hamza and Seher are fabulous, no doubt. But they still are nowhere near to Yumhaj. And if anyone says that Yumhaj didn't have any Chemistry in Dil Na Umeed To Nahi, I don't think anyone will agree. Because despite their limited screen time, they had something different everytime they looked into each other's eyes. So undoubtedly it's Yumhaj... the best couple of 2023 and one of the best couples ever seen on PTV.

I would like to disagree with Aamna that scenes create chemistry..bcz in MPHT , Wahaj and Hania has so many hug scenes but still they were looking like siblings.. So It was Yumna and Wahaj who altogether created best chemistry.. adding on.. apart from pool and bed scenes .. there were many scenes that were showing insane chemistry just by holding hands or even just looking each other ..Aamna needs to rewatch tere bin

For me, the best couples of 2023 that I really loved watching, were definitely 1. Wahaj-yumna 2. Hamza-sehar 3. Bilal-sajal Tere bin had the worst story but can't deny the fact that wahaj and yumna's chemistry was electrifying. That's the only reason of its success. Fairytale amd KA two of my favorites of 2023.

Yumna Zaidi can create chemistry with anyone. All actors agree that when they work with Yumna she is so good that all they need to do is react that’s why it is so natural. Look at Yumna’s body of work with Zahid Ahmed and Ahmed ali akbar. They have done so much work together and their chemistry is always so amazing. I think the credit goes mostly to Yumna although Wahaj has done amazing work.

You have yumna and Wahaj in your list and you are not putting them at nr.1 😳. This is INSANE. I mean everyone knows the script was ewww but common yumna and Wahaj were firecrackers this year. Insane chemistry to the point where them in a frame was enough to get millions of people hooked to their tv screens.

For me, best couples are those who give me a weird giddy feeling just by looking at the screen. It has nothing to do with the story but just small actions which make chemistry. There was a small scene in kuch ankahi where sajal has a pen in her mouth and sheharyar nonchalantly takes it from her wipes it with his coat and uses it. The scene made me internally scream! The same goes for Tere Bin. Loved today's discussion and I totally agree with your best and worst lists. I am a bigger Sehar/Hamza fan so agree with Amna that they are the top couple of 2023. Sustaining such fiery chemistry through an entire season 2 when there are no points of friction and no conflict, is no easy feat but they managed to give us romance that can be watched over and over again. The entire shadi sequence, the one where he goes to her room and hides under the bed, the dining table breakfast scene, the seatbelt scene, the morning after walima scene, the gate scene, the video call scene and so many more..simply loved them!

Even though tere bin was the trash bin, you can't deny the fact that it was just chemistry that brought millions and billions of viewership to the drama. Wahaj and Yumna were class apart. Hamza and sehar were great too. I like sajal bilal too though but there weren't many of them together. The story wasn't focused on these two.

No comparison between Murtasim Khan’s with any other character. So the best couple were WAHAJ & YUMNA. The worst ones were from Jhok Sarkar - Farhaan and Hiba. If there were not enough scenes for them, it was a big mistake in story writing.

There aretons of reasons that no one can match Yumhaj chemistry and some of them are :1-I agree with Yumna when she said in that show with Amna and expressed that both actors had top most acting skills/craft .2- Yumna's extraordinary skills, with big eyes and confidence in eye contact, brings out the best in her opposite artist too. Therefore we saw the best acting so far from Wahaj while Yumna has proven her chemistry opposite Ahmed A. Akbar already which we will see with Humayun and Osama Khan too. 3- Amna said that Yumna's character was written bad but you have to give her credit that she did an extra ordinary job in improving her role to make it mega super hit which has brought her to a next level where hardly anyone has ever reached. 4- I respect Amna's view and her idea about why she rates Hamza and Sehar as the best, which may be due to the actors themselves but a huge reason for it to have worked was writer / directors job. I am sure these newer actors will not dare changing their characters, both being this new. At the same time we have to see the generation in 20s in sharper than generation in their 30s. So these are the advantages younger couple had. 5-Amna was so cute and respectful in not naming Yumhaj the best and this is the whole point that Yumna's fan try to make when people criticize her in such rude manner and expose their jealousy against her. Since she is a sweat-heart and will never reply or take revenge on those who give her negative criticism so her fans go crazy, toxic and start fighting with everyone to defend her and offend others (I think they should not do this and may be just politely reply with reasons, evidence and logical arguments to prove others wrong rather than being toxic). I wish other actors will LEARN from Yumna about good wishes for everyone and that brings the good vibes back to you and makes you look good rather than bashing others, expressing jealousy and making oneself look bad. This is a huge thing and may be the reason(of course other than her top acting and natural beauty, which others may have too) for Yumna's success, makes her different from others that how she is humble, respectful and not jealous of others at all. Aiza obviously looked older than Wahaj and I think they may show eye contact and love developing between Aiza and Wahaj in last 1-2 episodes but some behind the scenes revealed Aiza being clingy and bold while Wahaj a bit shy and expressionless in the bold photoshoots. I think Aiza should be given age appropriate roles only. However I do want to ask Amna that if top most, chemistry, physics and biology of Yumhaj clicked with MOST people in the world such that millions of people edited clips, scenes, ran on KZfaq and earned tons of money, got tons of views and are still doing so then do you think that people cared about story or the bad part of that story when they sensed the depth of acting and eye expressions of the two actors so much ??? I have not seen as many clips of Fairy-tail at all. Respectfully remember that we are not comparing the story line, theme of story or moral / ethic/ cultural or societal values here in chemistry between two ACTORS according to you and NOT the two characters from that story!!!

Agree with Hassan for us viewers it’s about the actors and whether they were able to create chemistry together for which the obvious winner is Yumna and Wahaj by 1000 miles! They had chemistry during filming as in off screen and it was obvious to them whilst filming scenes. I read somewhere that the director had to speak to Seher and Hamza initially as they didn’t have chemistry whilst filming the scenes after which they had to work on it to get that chemistry across on screen. The most fire was created by Yumna and Wahaj and that was clear as the entire drama was famous for their chemistry. For me Wahaj and Yumna are the number one on screen couple!

Seher and Hamza were more of a fun type of romance, not the heart stopping,pulsating one like Yumna and Wahaj,, who would set the scene of fire, by just one glance at each other! We didn’t see this with Seher and Humza! Saba and Imran also brought very enduring mature romance, and Khushal and Danandeer were outstanding in the teenage intense heart wrenching romance, and finally the odd romance of Haji and Barbeena! I could never put Seher and Humza above Yumna and Wahaj simply because they didn’t set the scene on fire like YUHAJ!🥰
