Ki Rene It's sad. I never thought like that I was taught that it's our real hair that we were never allowed to wear because of how nappy it was and I was suppose to perm it. Thank God I was able to experciene the thickness and versitality of my natural hair. I thought I was going to be stuck with stringy hair forever 🙏🏽🙏🏽😭

I Love this video. I swear that it so true every black girl has a story about how we tore our hair out after our Moma's grew it long and thick! Lol smh. I wish everyday I let my mom continue to do my hair smh. I would have been at waist length lol. Wishful thinking 😏. This hair journey is so stressful at times. I'm 3 and a half months heat free! I'm transitioning from heat damaged hair and I want to give up everyday 😫. It's hard but I have hope every time I watch a KZfaq video. Thanks for the video. Do you have anything on the moisture methods how to keep my hair moisturized?

@queenlele6193
@queenlele6193 7 жыл бұрын
My problems with my relaxed hair is that it was really thin and it was always break off at my shoulders especially when my mom let me start doing my own hair which was like freshman year of highschool. I went to the salon and when I couldn't afford to go to the salon I did it myself . The beautician used ALOT of heat of my hair and didn't care about the health of my hair . I also straightened my hair almost every day . I big chopped almost 3 years ago. I will be 3 years natural on February 1. My hair has grown a lot and it finally grow past my shoulders. My new goal is to grow it to bra strap length and then after that waist length.

Love your journey....Been natural for 7 maybe 8 years now, I have a great texture just wanted to try something new. Went to get my hair cut in pixie style, and the girl put perm on the sides and back of my hair, she rinsed it literally about 1 min or two after I realized that's what it was, I'm so upset and freaking out to. Scheduled with a new stylisr of course but will it be hard to get my pattern back?

finally a journey that has realistic trials and tribulations..i can relate with the frustration and multiple big chops, if you could name the one thing that allowed your hair to grow to fast what would it be? im nearing 2 years and im very unhappy with my growth. i dont use any heat, and i moisturize regularly, i noticed you dont protective style much do you think protective styling could have a negative effect? im desperate please help :(

Great journey! Hair looks great. I was wondering: is it bad that I condition my hair everyday? My hair would be dry and break off when it was only leave in everyday until wash day. Now that I use conditioner every day, my hair has retained a lot more length and it's easier to detangle. Plus, very little breakage. Got the idea from Pinterest. Should I have gotten a new leave in or continue with my regimen?

Josh George Only use a rinse out on wash day or if your co-washing mid week. Get a good leave-in conditioner like Cantu, Shea Moisture, etc. Start sealing your hair with an oil of your choice. If your just conditioning everyday with moisturizing your hair will be dry.
