I would like to add some more details on Support projects. There are various categories L1, L2, L3 etc. L2 and L3 involve application maintenance as well as code fixes which are fun to work on. There is a lot of scope to understand the business process as a whole and also add more value to your clients. Just sharing my thoughts. The general belief that support projects are bad and development projects are good, that is not right. It all depends on your interest and urge to learn new things.

It doesn't matter if you worked as a developer or support analyst in tcs. It will not be highlighted in your release letter. It will contain a designation generic to all the role.

I'm from Kolkata, I am working here in a MNC company of US Medical Billing Process or also known as RCM Process. Our company is also a service based company we have many clients from the US....I have been working here for 1 year now. I agree with most of the points this guy has addressed in the video.. I also believe, Earning money is part of your life you have to do it to run your life show...But if you are really into building your Future in a field then suck up all the knowledge that you can put in, Because you'll not believe me...We all feel, there are Many who work better than us, but when you keep pushing yourself to the edge, you will see everyone else is so behind you...And believe me when I joined this company, I also thought my fellow coworkers are very good at their work...I won't be able to get the start Perfomer badge on my chest...But believe me I worked hard and put my full mind into the process, And I was awarded the Star Performer of December 😊

In tcs ratings and bands depends on your relationship with your manager and hr and also the project you work for. If project is not good then you can't expect a better hike even with good ratings.

Guys small correction in TCS there is no annual appraisal so after completion of 2years only you will get your first hike. I am joined in April2022 and I am eligible for 2023 Appraisal process and I will get my first hike in 2024 May and it’s clearly said by my Unit HE and my immediate manager!
