On the north shores of this tropical island sprawls the metropolis of Todos Santos. In this series, I attempt to build a Latin American city that roams from the Old World casco viejo to the car-centric urbanism of the New World, primarily drawing inspiration from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I hope you’ll join me on this high-detail exploration of all the things that make us love cities.

This is so beautiful and immaculate and so immersive. I love how the forest comes in and surrounds the outer hills of the entire city. It makes it feel more realistic and beautiful. It's like a Large South American city the holds conventions and is a great travel and vacation spot. The colors of the ocean is very tropical and beautiful. This has to be one of the longest running Cities 1 series. Taking over 5 years, that's incredible.

Each and every episode has been phenomenal, with all the back stories to the areas giving them so much character! Seeing it all come together now is amazing, just wish it didn't have to end... Thanks for many hours of excellent entertainment, and here is to the next series :)

One of my favorite Cities Skylines series ever. I’m personally a city builder in Minecraft, but I rarely find any good references for Latin American urban design so this series has truly been a great help for me. I greatly appreciate the work you’ve put into this, well done!

Stumped over Todos Santos series thanks to the airport build which was awesome (and great music accompanying the video), although sad it is over I am going through the whole series which has giving me a lot of inspiration for the city I am currently building. Hands down one of the best CS series in KZfaq and hope to see more projects from you. Thanks for sharing and igniting a new inspiration for myself to build my city in CS.

Thanks! I mostly took inspiration from San Juan, Puerto Rico, but there is plenty of Brazilian influence that slipped in too.

Again, it's incredible to see this project reach a culmination after that much work. I hope you're super proud of yourself for the effort you put into it and I'd love to see you tackle another big CS1 project (though maybe not to the same scope as Todos Santos as you mentioned on the finale). Maybe a city on the Florianopolis map?

Great video ! I do love the IDEA of city builder games but the thing that annoys me the most is the fact that nothing ever grows organically - everything has to be planned and created. Where are the squatters, the transients, the satellite towns and hamlets that grow up on their own, only to become an integration problem later on. Also, there never seems to be any build "pressure" in the game. A huge area could be left undeveloped right next to the heart of the city and there will be no greedy developers, corrupt politicians or vested interests pushing to go one way or another - build a sewerage farm, a factory or a high density housing development and no one will care. Still, beautiful city man !

Thanks! One thing I like about the game not forcing these pressures on you is that it gives you the freedom to make the stories up yourself. It does take a lot more effort though, haha.

Yeah I used cinematic camera extended. Record the After shot, save the camera path, delete everything, record the Before shot.

fair enough, but I took the name from a lovely Mexican town called Todos Santos, so you'll have to take it up with them haha. In fact there are a good number of place names that go by "Todos Santos".
