Please make as many of these as you can lol. When the Wii shop was announced to close and because of the PSN Store closure scare, I spent a good month or so compiling as many potential games that I would buy on them before they were gone. I bought as many as I could and while I couldn't buy them all, I at least gave it one last good effort. The same thing is happening again.

Great, thanks for letting me know you liked it! Yeah, I didn't have a Wii, still don't, but wish I had because so many games were lost on the Wii virtual console. @@FromTheVoidGames Not that we should need to, but the Wii is one of the easier consoles to hack. Out of the ones I have, I rank the PSP the easiest, Wii second, PS Vita third and PS3 the most complicated to hack and maintain. The only hiccup I had for the Wii was picking an OS, but the rest is pretty light. I have no idea about the handhelds, though.

@@FromTheVoidGames i took myself an entire day on the 3ds e-shop and checked virtual console, below 3€,demos,exclusive(download),cartridge/download and all other sub categories, i found more games that i am interested in, Super Mario Kart for example, i could play it on the switch for freee but the 3ds sounds better tbh, i NEVER played a kirby game before and in the span of 2 days i bought kirbys adventure wii aka kirbys return to dreamland, blowout blast and triple deluxe

I heard that the ability to add points went away the day after it did. I don't get how it's possible that I heard so little about it then, while now I've heard about this in lots of places. 3DS and Wii U sales combined are less than Wii sales.

Glad to see Liberation Maiden fans here! Great game, enjoyed it quite a lot! Yeah, and with Level-5 now going throuw rough times, it would be cool if this game sold a lot before the stores close down. They deserve it. What happened to them and the Layton franchise is really sad.

@@FromTheVoidGames the problem is 90% percent of LEVEL5 games are on the 3ds like Inazuma eleven,LBX,Layton...if the Shop close they would be trouble since LEVEL5 dint publish il almost anything new....

I definitely would appreciate a Wii U list as well. I hate that digital is the way to go most of the time anymore. We're going to lose so much with companies like this refusing to acknowledge the need for preservation measures.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know! Will do one one Wii U right after part 1-B :D. Yeah, I share the exact same sentiment. I do think Digital and Physical can totally coexist, and digital opens the way for smaller games so its great, but companies are steering their ships 100% toward digital only and I DESPISE THAT IDEA COMPLETLY. So whenever I can I go for the physical to show my support. I'll be sure to pass on that idea in my videos going forward whenever appropriate. Thanks for watching and leaving this comment, Callogan!

yup. theyre basically forcing our hands at pirating and emulating. once the eshop goes down and we lose all these digital exvlusive titles the only next thing is to either pay a ridiculous price for it or to emulate

Of all your content, these types of videos are my favorite. Too bad they are prompted by companies announcing store closures. The 3DS was my only console for a while so I was familiar with most of these and own about half but I love the passion you put into your videos, and calling out the prices is super helpful. You make me want to buy games I never considered or never even heard of. Keep it up man! Make as many of these as you can, there is so much good stuff to cover.

Yeah, I really like making these too. Thing is, when I do them without the store closure behind, the algorithm doesn't pick up because my audience is still small, so the videos end up kinda buried. I made one on PS3 and Vita recently very much in the same vein as this, full of hidden gems and lesser known games, but only a few hundred people watched it. Love these videos from you. It's a shame they have to be made, since game companies don't take preservation seriously, but it helps us know what's worth buying before doomsday comes. Citizens of Earth I had it for a future video cause its on PS4 and Vita and some other platformsand right now I am concentrating on exclusives that are more urgent. And Adventure Bar Story looks awesome! I will try that one out for sure! Didn't know about it. Unfortunatly its also on mobile, so I won't feature in part 1-B for that same reason, but its a great one for a later video because lots of people myself included don't like playing on phones. Thanks for the video. I'm currently compiling a list of all the interesting games on both systems give myself a road map. I have to admit, that I turned it into a quasi science project, when the Wii Shop closed. Just an amendment: The Guild games and Boxboy Trilogy got a physical release in Japan. Oh, no problem, the update thing is important. Its more of a future issue for when servers are shut down, but there is a lot of talk about that happening sooner than we think, right? I have a pretty expansive knowledge of the 3ds but even many of these passed me by! Mainly Sakura Samurai, Ninja Battle Heroes, and Nano Assault EX. Definitely reccomended putting Gurumin a Monstrous Adventure 3D on your next video, and Gotta Protectors. Yokai Watch games have also gotten super expensive save for digital. Mainly Blasters and YKW3.

Thats great to hear, incel destroyer, glad I could provide new game suggestions to you! Nano Assault is excelent, one of my favorite on this list. I was not considering Gurumin because its not exclusive to the 3DS, being on PSP, Vita and Steam too, but reading your comment I saw that it had 3D in the title, so I may be able to include it under the pretext that its the only version that has 3D... I like the 3D so, to me its justifed, lol. And I love Gurumin, its fantastic. I'll consider it for sure. Yokai games are for sure on the list and Gotta Protectors is a great idea too, probably will feature it. Thanks for the great recommendations and for watching!

Although not a 3DS fan nor collector, I am highly worried about practice of shutting down digital stores without offering us an alternative. Thank goodness for the Redump project. It seems it's up to us gamers to preserve video game history.

yes, its a total disregard for the games. Companies don't treat them with the due respect, games are art. Yeah, things like Internet Archive are so important, while Nintendo keeps fighting off emulation like its the devil. Its shameful.

You should absolutely cover the Silver Falls games! There are five on 3DS and two on Wii U, and they're all fantastic and unique games that will be gone soon! They're made entirely by one guy and massive labor-of-love games for the systems.

I'm glad I bought dragon quest 7 and 8 on day one. definitely a series you do not want to sleep on if you think very expensive you should check out the physical versions of four five and six on the DS they're over $100

Yeah, it's awesome how they made remakes/remasters of every single Dragon Quest from 1 to 8, most on the DS/3DS, unfortunetly like you said, all expensive now for the physical versions, which will get more so once the eshops close.

Watching this list reminds me of how awkward it was to be left handed during the ds era and how I had to research the controls before buying any game. Most of the touch screen controlled games were made with holding the stylus in you right hand in mind and it made many games a lot less enjoyable. Bless the games that made left hand modes

You added one of my 2 favorite 3DS games which was Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology which is definitely one to be on this list. My other fav which is more just my taste is Stella Glow which has some really good music in it and if you like anime fire emblem, it's pretty dang good.

Yeah it's worth it. I mean I enjoy seeing people's take on games and games I might of missed. Not a fan of rythmn games but some people are. Glad you said Dillon trilogy. Everyone is mentioning Rolling, but not the other two. Awhile back I decided to not get Rolling two. It's supposedly more of the same as 1 but Dead Heat differs. Which I bought the last time I heard of eshop closures outside of North America.

I didn't get to do this with the ds and was very upset and sad mine was broken from my dumb sibling. So now I feel like this is my redemption arc to try and get as MANY 3ds games I want to play as possible and enjoy the adventure along the way , enjoying the stressful will I or won't I find games for cheaper before they sky rocket . I'm buying a frame from a friend because I never saw it irl again after it's launch as we speak At least this way I know I'll have given it my best !

I'd also like to add Terraria and the first Dementium to the list. Terraria is available in so many other devices but the 3DS version has its own exclusive contents due to no longer receiving updates and the firdt Dementium game was the only One of the 2 to receive an HD remaster on the 3DS. Fun fact, Dementium was the original pitch for Silent Hill on Nintendo so I find it to be of someehat historic value as well.

Liberation Maiden and Raidiant Historia PC are SUCH cool games. Anyone who hasn't played them has been missing out...and Nano Assault EX is one of the best shooters on the console. I LOVE playing it twin stick gray nipple style. Sakura Samurai is a great title I bought and played when it first came out. Such a shame that generations of gamers won't get to experience it (and Liberation Maiden) now thanks to the eshop closure. Unless, of course...🏴‍☠

Rhythm Thief is so interesting and it’s a shame that it never developed into a full series outside of the cancelled iOS game. Definitely a rhythm game player must have. Same for Harmo Knight, thought the songs are less memorable the gameplay is extremely good.

Picked up liberation maiden among the list. Loved it. Wish Suda51 & Grasshoper manufacture would go back to this world of new japan & make a TRUE spiritual sequel or successor. I know that a sequel does exist for liberation maiden but that one never got localized and on top of that it’s a completely different genre and studio behind the sequel, Suda wasn’t even involved with it either.

Ninja Battle Heroes totally looks like Muramasa The Demon Blade. Muramasa Rebirth on Vita is one of my favorite games of all time so definitely looking into Ninja Battle Heroes. Another game I would recommend that you can get physically is Little Battlers eXperience.

Love the video, and I had no idea Professor Layton was going for that much. But if you make a part two, you gotta highlight Ace Attorney Apollo Justice, Ace Attorney 5 , and Ace Attorney 6, as well as their DLC. They're digital only outside of Japan, and are amazing games.

I dont think I say about updates specifically in the video. But yes, you will still be able to download updates for games you already own after the eshops close. Here's Nintendo statement about it: "Even after late March 2023, and for the foreseeable future, it will still be possible to redownload games and DLC, receive software updates and enjoy online play on Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems."
