For me Kanji is easy to remember if I just write it a bunch of times and make my own sentence. I reached N1 from N2 in less than a year. I think trying to remember on and kun is hard as well as trying to see which kanji must pair up with which kana but otherwise anyone can master it good luck yall

theres a thing that I didn't understand ever in japanese profiency test .... the thing is for example I'm taking the N2 or N3 exam , when you take a exam n2 or n3 you need to study kanjis that belong n2 or n3 right ?? but when I take the N2 exam there's a lot of kanji also belongs to N1 which is I didnt get at all ? I mean N2 supposed to have N2 list kanjis isn't it ? I took also N3 but there were a lot of N2 kanjis too ?? I mean whats the main point of adding upper level kanji to what we supposed take lower level exam ? this is also very contradictory for the other foreigner people and I ask so many japanese teachers and responsible about JLPT exam But I didn't get a any satisfying answer at all ....

@yowo6105
@yowo6105 2 жыл бұрын
There are no real JLPT level lists. People categorize kanji and vocabulary based on what has appeared in previous tests, so some things might be mixed up. However a lot of vocabulary words of lower levels have kanji of higher levels, so I think you might be confused with that. For low level vocabulary words it is not necessary to know the higher level kanji, but you should just memorize the reading and meaning, furigana will be provided for these words on the test or the kanji will even be omitted. For example the word ならぶ、"to line up" is N5 level, but just the reading. You can get this word on the test in listening and reading exercises, and kanji questions won't be asked. The kanji 並 itself (which appears in the word 並ぶ {ならぶ}), is N2 level, and questions about the kanji can be asked on the test. (like getting a sentence with ならぶ in it and then 4 options for different kanji where you need to select the right kanji.
