If the max volume is too low for you, then you can actually max out the Media Volume Limit. It's deep (and I mean deep) within the sound settings. Sounds and Vibrations/Volume/three dots on the top right/Media Volume Limit/Enable/Custom Volume Limit. Max volume limit can go as loud as 150.

Great video (as usual!). Question... Something I can't seem to find on my S23U is a way to change All app notifation sounds individually. Some apps (within themselves) allow app notification sound changes, some don't, so many apps have adopted the default Samsung notification sound I set. I would really like to be able to edit/change the sounds on all app notifications.

A lot of these options I have it on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Returning my S23 Ultra, not enough innovation to justify the cost for me. Maybe Z Fold 5 will be enough innovation for me coming from a Galaxy Note 20. Yes, I will also receive Android UI 5.1 update in a few months, too, and get a similar features.

Will the battery widget show more than one but like I still have my icons and I have the pros will it show the battery power for both cuz I do switch them in and out when one runs out I go to the other

Hello. Thank you for your helpful tips. Did you know you can add a powerful built-in app to your lock screen, 🔐 Then you'll have 1. Power Off app 2. Restart app 3. Emergency SOS Call app Plus, app to secure your phone very quickly 4. Lockdown Mode app Go in settings, then lock screen menu, tap SECURE lock settings, enter phone password, once you're in, tap button Show Lockdown Options. Setting complete. Now your phone will be in locked down when you tap that button on your lock screen until you put in that secure password. Hope this was a helpful tip. I've done it for a couple of years now discovered by mistake.

If you are more into mobile videography, go for s23 Ultra. But if you are more into photography, s22 Ultra pictures including night mode pictures are much better than s23 Ultra. I own an s22 Ultra and recently got an s23 Ultra too. After doing image and video comparison, I found s22 Ultra images are less grainy, sharper (less sharp after April update), more clear, basically overall better than s23 Ultra. In s23 Ultra colours are accurate, but only for skin tones, sky and reds. The videos are definitely better than s22 Ultra. Surprisingly, shadow areas are grainier in pictures, but video of the same shadow areas has no grains in videos of s23 Ultra. After the April update, selfie video quality has improved a lot in s22 Ultra. So, overall the s22 Ultra is more stable in terms of camera performance. Another huge problem in s23 Ultra is off-axis colour shifting of the screen. Just put 2 icons - one at top and another one at bottom - of the same application on Home Screen, you will see the difference in the colour of both icons. Run a white screen test video from KZfaq and look at it from different angles. The colour shifting is too high. If you do the same test on s22 Ultra, you won't see any colour shifting unless you are viewing at almost 180 degrees. Other problems observed are washed out colours on screen, network issues, call drops and slow Wi-Fi. It's surprising that none of the reviews of s23 Ultra on KZfaq mentioned these issues. Upgrading to s23 Ultra from s22 Ultra is a waste of money unless you are more into mobile videography. I tested Super 16, Filmic Pro, Motion Cam Pro on both s22 Ultra and s23 Ultra. Videos of s23 Ultra were definitely better than s22 Ultra's videos but hardly 10 percent. But if you do post-processing of any kind, then there is no point to go for s23 Ultra even for videography.

Hey saki, hope you can help me. I noticed my s23ultra screen randomly turns on while charging for like 2 seconds and there is no notification. Any idea why it is doing this? Safe to say I do not have a screen saver and the screen should stay black while charging.

The ultra only lasts about 3 hours of constant use. It only last all day if I don't really use it. Thats with all the fancy power saving features active.
